Fiskars 25” PowerGear2 Garden Bypass Loppers, 1.75" Capacity Tree Trimmer

These loppers are fantastic. Nips through over 1.5" diameter maple branches with ease. The gearing assist and the sharpness of the blade are absolutely great. Works fantastic as part of my chainsawing kit, can clean up a ton of brush before I switch to the saw or if I have someone assisting. Stop shopping, buy this sucker. Completely worth the money.

This was purchased as a replacement for a previous Power Gear 2 trimmer. My old trimmers were not cutting worth a darn so it was time for new. I can feel the difference in the new trimmers as they cut through branches like they are butter. I can probably buy a new blade for my old power gear 2 but to me it's not worth the trouble. The new power gear 2 trimmer was the same price as my previous purchase years ago so I feel it is a good value. I wore out the old trimmers and will probably wear out the new trimmers after a few years.

Bought this for my wife to use as it’s a little shorter and lighter but has a gearing system to allow cutting without too much straining. Save the cardboard wrapping with the model number and the receipt as they have like a 5 year warranty. Last store brand loppers I bought at Lowe’s failed after a few months of light usage and getting warranty service on Chinese made junk wasn’t worth the effort. They would have just replaced it with another piece of junk. Went with the Fiskars and its been working great with no problems.

Great loppers. I find them to be durable, and easily capable of cutting every branch I use them on. With the PowerGear2 mechanism, this has excellent cutting power. It slices through branches like they were made of butter. I was struggling to decide between the 25 inch and 32 inch sizes, but I’m glad I went with a 25 inch version. The size and weight are perfect for my needs. Anything too large for these loppers to cut, I just use the Fiskars 15” PowerTooth D-Handle saw. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase.

Even with post- stroke left arm weakness I can mostly still cut up to 1 & 1/2 to 2 inch branches

Bought to cut larger branches on bushes. Work great. You don’t even have to squeeze the hard to cut the branch.

You do have to open the handles wider than similar loppers, but the ease and cutting performance is well worth it. It cut through dead, dry 2 inch branches that I would not have been able to do with my other loppers.

The powergear is the best lopper I have used, and I have tried many.
