(Renewed) Apple iPhone 12, 64GB, Blue - Fully Unlocked

This is my first review from March 2026: I’m very content with my purchase. I bought this phone a month ago today and it has not given me any issues whatsoever, it works like it’s brand new the battery life is still 98% the screen wasn’t scratched, the camera is great, the touch screen, speaker, the over performance is wonderful. It even came with a charging cord and adapter that work effectively too. For its overall durability and the way it exceeded my expectations it’s definitely worth the price. I’m very happy. This is my review as of today July 2026, the phone still works incredible. Granted I actually take care of my phone adding case protection and using a screen protector. Even with working indoors and outdoors and constantly on my phone for work I have not had any issues whatsoever. The camera still works great, my battery life is now 96% still incredibly durable. The phone speaker is fine, the screen is fine no distorted coloring, my charging cord still charges rapidly. My phone still feels like new to me. Still the best purchase I’ve ever made for a refurbished phone.

Me encuentro bastante satisfecho con el producto, llegó en muy buenas condiciones (no se encuentra tallada ni descarapelada la pintura del marco de aluminio del cuerpo ni de las cámaras), se sincroniza perfecto tanto a la red móvil (5G) como a WIFI (5G) además del ecosistema de Apple y no Apple (por medio de Bluetooth); sin mencionar que las bocinas suenan increíble. Puntos que debes considerar según mi experiencia con la compra: - Llegó con el 82% de batería - Tiene pequeños rayones en la pantalla (en el día a día no se notan, pero están ahí) - Mi unidad llegó con un protector de pantalla mal colocado (story time más adelante) - Llegó sucio (como si recién le quitaran alguna funda y sin limpiar ni nada, lo hubieran enviado) - Tuve MUCHISIMA SUERTE ya que mi unidad estéticamente está perfecta (a excepción de la pantalla que mencioné anteriormente) Story time Cuando recién abrí el producto, la parte superior derecha de la pantalla estaba levantada (sobresalía del cuerpo del dispositivo), a lo que mi primera reacción fue "bueno, todo está bien, seguramente reemplazaron la pantalla después de algún golpe y no la instalaron correctamente" porque a pesar de todo, funcionaba muy bien; Al día siguiente, apareció una burbuja en la pantalla (como la que sale cuando no está bien instalada una mica o cristal templado), paniqueado acudí a la ishop más cercana en búsqueda de asesoría; quiero aclarar que a todo esto, ya había comenzado el tramite de la garantía, que muy amablemente de parte de Amazon me aceptaron, ya sólo faltaba empacar el producto y regresarlo; tras este breve contexto, al acudir a la ishop me mostraron que el equipo estaba en perfecto estado, y lo que causaba la burbuja en la pantalla efectivamente era un cristal protector súper mal colocado, al serle retirado el mismo, ya no había burbujas ni pantalla sobresalida ni nada. Cancelé mi devolución, y sigo probando el dispositivo (de momento bastante satisfecho). Subiré actualización tras 80 días de uso. I purchased the Apple iPhone 12 (64GB, Blue Unlocked, Renewed) as a birthday gift for my son back in March, and I have to say it exceeded all expectations. Even though it was listed as renewed, the phone looked absolutely brand new right out of the box no scratches, no marks, nothing that would make you think it wasn’t fresh from the factory. The setup was quick and easy, and the performance has been flawless. The phone runs smoothly, apps open fast, and the camera quality is excellent perfect for photos and videos. My son has been using it daily, and it still works just as well as the day he got it. Battery life is solid, lasting him through the day without any issues, and the sleek blue color gives it a really nice, premium look. Being unlocked was also a big plus, making it easy to use with our network without any hassle. Overall, this was an amazing purchase and a great value for the price. If you’re thinking about getting a renewed iPhone, don’t hesitate this one truly feels like new. My son absolutely loves it, and I’m very happy with this gift choice.

So many things wrong with this phone that did NOT meet Amazon Renewed criterion. My first impression was that it looked to be in excellent condition. The blue body of the phone looked immaculate. A few days later I found out why - it had been painted. However, the paint applied was wafer thin and within a few days of gentle use the paint started to flake off over large areas. This revealed the original blue body of the phone which was covered in scratches. Second problem was that the battery health had been fudged. The battery health shown though settings showed 100% which is rather suspicious unless a new battery had been installed. This was NOT the case though as using iPhone analytics and the handy Battery script that can be downloaded, revealed the true battery "life" was less than 75% with over 1400 recharge cycles accumulated. This was also confirmed using the desktop iMazing program. So the seller clearly fudged the battery "health" to display 100% - very dishonest. Lastly, the screen had zero scratches - great. But it is clearly a low quality replacement screen. With light reflecting on it, it's clear than the screen has some manufacturing blemishes in it and that it is not perfectly flat. This was confirmed when I tried to install a tempered glass screen protector. There was a large rectangle of air bubbles that could not be shifted and this corresponded to the imperfect areas of the screen that I observed previously. Needless to say I am returning the phone and will not buy from this particular Canadian seller again.

Pros Great handset. Its durable and performs smoothly regardless of what I'm doing. Cons The only draw back is that I need to charge it everyday. Also the battery drains quickly and gets hot when I'm sharing hotspot with others. Other issues I have are more of an apple design problem more than a distributor one. 1. It can only accommodate 5 persons on hotspot, 2. My data connection is severed if a straight call comes in
