Goya Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce - 7 oz.

Wanted to take the heat up to another level on my highly requested chili by friends and family. This not only brought the heat up but also added great flavor and not taking away the flavor from my original recipe.

I used this in The Pioneer Woman’s spicy chipotle chicken recipe and it was incredible. Cheaper than many other brands.

This is not food for weak women and wimpy men. Brace yourself. The sauce is hot, hot, hot! My husband loved it. I said my prayers, ate, and then took several Tums. We both survived. I take my hat off to Mexicans who can eat it every day! The peppers and sauce are a great choice for Chipotle Beef dish.

Delicious! I use this to make tamale meat. I process a can in my food processor, freeze half, then put about half (maybe a little less) in my crock pot with about 3 lbs of meat, salt, onion, and some stock. After a few hours the meat falls apart and has a slightly spicy smokey flavor. Reserve the resulting cooking liquid for your masa. Such delicious subtlety spicy tamales. This stuff packs a pretty good punch a so even the small can will go a long way!

Wow was excited to discover chipotle peppers online. If you read anything about making Chipotle sauce you’ll see that these are integral ingredients for it. The chipotle I made from this was terrific--smoke flavored and spicy. It adds a lot of flavor to anything to put it in, but be advised that a little goes a long way..the peppers themselves are very hot themselves so I found you don’t have to use much to give something a lot of kick. You could make a really nice chipotle sauce by just using the paste that surrounds the peppers. Once you open a can this stuff won’t last long in the refrigerator however, so I put the contents of an opened can in a storage container and put it in a freezer. When I need it I just chip off a bit for use. It doesn’t freeze rock hard so I’ve found no reason to freeze in small portions like others have advised. The only negative was that the can came a bit dented from shipment. Presumably this was because it was in a big box where it knocked against other things during shipping. If you’re thinking about buying this, don’t hesitate!

So good! One pepper alone is very spicy in a pot of food but I love that. I added 2. LOVEEEE

I need these to make my copy cat Chipotle beef and chicken. I love Goya products, consistently good!

The flavor in these peppers is amazing. Makes any recipe a winner.

Es un Chile delicioso para condimentar. Usenlo con prudencia, mejor empezar con poco e ir aumentando. El precio por kilo está equivocado así como la especificación del peso por lata. De todos modos el precio me parece bien ajustado al producto enviado.

En la lucha contra sabores boring, un chili humado es la cosa más eficaz. Se puede poner en tudo. Un poco picante, asi no es boring nunca.
