Good digital camera
Good camera. Bought this for an elderly neighbor who has talked into getting this by one of his buddies. I knew he would never use it so I gifted it to him. I got to use it for a while so I could try to teach him how to use it. It has a lot of features and takes good pictures. Easy to use.

Great camera for a grandparent!!!
I purchased this camera on Amazon for my grandmother's birthday. She loves pictures, but everyone always sends her prints and she isn't able to display them!! They just sit in boxes in her closet. I had once mentioned to her that she should get a digital camera, but she was very scared to use one.. she thought she would never understand it. I had been reseraching many different cameras to buy her. I wanted to make sure that a) it was extremely simple to use, b) the buttons were big, easy to see, and not complicated, c) the picture quality was pretty decent, d) the camera used AA batteries (so if the batteries died, she could replace them easily instead of having to recharge a rechargable battery when on vacation), and e) the camera was easy to hold, reducing the chances of dropping it, and not super small so that she wouldn't loose it. This camera is just that!!! She LOVES IT! Now, she is able to easily, with confidence, take stunning pictures with no problem! Compared to my Cannon SD1300IS, I'm actually quite impressed. The pictures she takes have vivid colors, and are very crisp. :) The camera uses an SD card and i just purchased and 8in. Kodak EasyShare digital photo frame for her for christmas so that she can display her pictures without any problems. The only con that I have for this camera is that it eats batteries. But, that could be solved if she would just take them out of the camera when its not in use... Problem solved!!

SIMILAR QUALITY TO A CELLPHONE CAMERA
The camera was good for a while. It made good quality pictures and it was very easy to use. I enjoyed and made many pictures, until one day, about two to three years after I purchased it, it stopped working. I did not think it was worth taking it to a repair shop because it would cost more the repair than to buy a new and more advanced camera.

Great Product!
Most reviews I read on this product were excellent and well informative - this product lives up to its reviews. I love this camera, it fits well in my pocket, and it does well on batteries despite what others might say, most consumer grade cameras of this type consume lots of battery power very quickly anyways. (One helpful thing is to not turn the camera on or off two frequently than you need to. It drains the battery more turning it on and off then just leaving it on for a minute to take your next picture.) Also some people like to use rechargeable batteries on these, I don't. I think rechargeable batteries can be undependable at times, and lose their strength after little use. I like the cheap alkaline, you can buy more of them cheaply and get just as much use out of them as some descent rechargeable units. (but that's just my observation, it's your camera if you buy it, do whatever makes your usage enjoyable) I love the big LCD screen, it makes picture taking much more enjoyable. Make sure you get a good 4gig sd card. The onboard memory like most cameras is only enough to take about 30 pictures. So overall fantastic camera for the price, great quality!

Kodak EasyShare C182 Digital Camera - It's Great!
I first received the Kodak EasyShare C182 Digital Camera as a present for my birthday. It got broken in an unfortunate accident, and when the time came to purchase a brand new digital camera, I chose the exact same camera! Despite being the kind of camera that has a lithium battery included, this one comes with 2 double A batteries, which is inconvenient at first, but not if you invest in some rechargeable double A batteries and a charger for cheap at a pharmacy or electronic store. It has great resolution, it's incredibly "easy" to use as its title suggests, it's inexpensive, and the photos it takes are really high quality! The camera itself has a lot of features, such as letting you crop, or rotate your pics and it takes great videos too! It doesn't have a built in speaker, though, but it's sound quality is great too. And another thing I love about this camera is that there is no software you have to "pre-install" on your computer in order to use it. You just plug it in, import the photos onto your hard drive, and you're set! It's an amazing camera, and I wouldn't go without it!

No Flash & Green Line
We really wanted to like this camera for its great features and price but it seems Kodak must have rushed it out of the door half-baked.Out of the box the flash didn't work. We tried every setting possible, including setting the flash to "always on"; nothing worked. Unfortunately this ruined my daughter's birthday since this was her main gift and she wasn't able to take any pictures that evening. We finally gave up and returned the camera to Amazon.A few days later we bought another Kodak C182 from Target (since the price was $20 cheaper) and the flash worked great. After putting in the SD card; however, a green line appeared on the LCD screen, running vertically down the middle of the screen. It will not go away. Taking the card out, resetting the camera, and trying every possible setting hasn't helped. Online searches haven't revealed any help either.Between research, returns, and running around to find a replacement we've wasted 12+ hours so we're returning this second camera and writing off Kodak for good.
