Best Portable Power House
Since purchasing this Portable Power Station, it has been a life saver on many occasions. Since moving to Belize and living in a totally off grid community, I have relied on this powerhouse to keep my Wi-Fi and internet running since I work remotely. If it rains for more than 2-3 days, I will run out of solar power at some point, but I still must work. This battery has saved the day. It has so many features to include DC and AC current, 2 USB-C, 1 USB, 3 AC ports, along with a flashlight with low and high beam. Not to mention the ability to send an SOS signal should you be stranded. It will last for days and will charge fully within 60 minutes or you can use your car to recharge it. Its an amazing product and has paid for itself many times over.

Love it! Really great unit all around. Has long battery life. Super quiet. The display is accurate on input and output. Got on sale and love the price. Charge up with solar, car or 110v. Runs small AC fine. The Bluetooth is not persistent so sometimes when you attempt to check unit on app it will not connect so that needs to be addressed. The barrel ports for solar panel inputs are not anchored on a solid frame. When you plug the solar barrel connectors in the side flexes inward where it is weak. This dynamic movement is bad where electric connections are located so that needs to be addressed as well. Overall a good unit but some fixes are needed.

Great company. Great product. Really great support staff.
Jackery is a standup company with great customer support. The first Explorer 2000 v2 unit I received didn't work...it wouldn't accept a charge and had no ac output. Contacted Jackery Support, explained the problem I was having and they immediately sent a replacement which has performed flawlessly so far. Look forward to camping trips but unit will routinely be used at an outbuilding where I need occasional power and during power outages. This was much cheaper than running power and wiring the building and meets my needs fully out there. Plus, It's so quiet and so much easier to use than pulling out my 7000 watt gas powered generator.

Bought it on Tuesday needed it on Wednesday
My Jackery 2000 Explorer V2 was delivered on the day before we had a power outage that lasted 30 hours. I topped off the charge (it arrived with 29% charge) and hoped I would not need it. The very next afternoon our power grid went down. The first 100% charge lasted 10 hours, I unplugged it, took it to my sons recharged it in about 2 hours, came back home reconnected the fridge, fans and phone chargers, second charge lasted about the same as the first, same recharge process as the other time, with about 1 hour left on third charge our power came on!!! I checked into adding solar panels, but think I have a better idea: buy a second Jackery!!! When the first one starts to get low (hour or so left) I then connect my electric needs to my second unit that would be fully charged, take unit #1 to a family or friends house to recharge it. I think instead of getting another โ2000โ this time I will purchase a โ1000โ, itโs about 1/2 the price PLUS itโs about 20 pounds making it more versatile to take to the beach or a grandchildโs sporting event to power a few fans for the team or myself and many other potential uses. In my area, itโs not always sunny so solar can be problematic. We donโt get power failures that frequently BUT, I want to be proactive and a whole house generator system would run me upwards of $10,000, my setup will be done for a little over $1,200. Our last three power outages were not resolved very quickly. I definitely recommend the Jackery.

Appeared overrated: ~600Wh effective vs 2042Wh rated due to idle power loss
If there was a scientific review of effective vs actual capacity then I missed it. I'm an electrical engineer so I know what a Watt-hour is. This is rated 2042Wh, basically 2kWh, so ideally it should drive a 2kW load one hour, a 200W load 10 hours, a 20W load 100 hours, etc. If you know multiplication then you've got it. Even if the internal battery actually has a capacity of 2kWh, it will consume more than that to charge up and it will power less than that when it's discharging. The lost power goes to heat that you can feel emanating from the unit, which is why there's a fan to help cool units down to avoid accelerated battery life degradation while it is fast charging or discharging. It would be reasonable to expect maybe 15% due to power conversion losses, but not 70% lost. So either this device is extremely inefficient at running smaller loads (e.g. a UPS to drive your cable model and WiFi as I tested it), or the batteries aren't 2KWh capacity, or both. The unit reported 17W for my AC load. I used a smart plug to measure it and it reported 15-16W of load. Ideally it would run for five days, but in reality it hardly runs a day and a half from a full charge. The two pictures are what the app showed at the start of my test and what it showed 24hrs later. At the beginning it shows 17W and 65.1h which already looks bad as that implies hardly half of the stated capacity. But even that runtime is greatly overatated as you'll see reported from the next day. If I assume it really is a 2kWh battery, then for the projected 34hr runtime based on drain rate, it implies 83W of load and 66W wasted to heat. I know what a 60W lightbulb feels like and it doesn't seem that much heat is coming out of it, so it leaves be believing the device is highly overrated. This can't go through Amazon returns so I contacted the company by chat support through their app and I've yet to hear back a business day later. I've since chatted with Amazon and they said they will message the seller to initiate a return on my behalf. I'm currently waiting to hear back. *** UPDATE *** After a lot of back and forth, I was able to return it for a full refund. The first level customer service is lousy: asking generic, irrelevant questions and asking for uploading video proof of the issue "before and after the troubleshooting" which was to reset the machine. How do you prove by video that it has a capacity issue??? It wasn't until some time after I posted this review, I got an email from a named person (Brian) mentioning the review. Interactions with him were a lot better, and he gave this formula for the expected run time: When powering devices via AC it's 2042Wh * 0.85 / (power draw of the device +17W) He requested a video showing my devices connected, what models they were and the display, so I provided that. Since the app projected 34 hours vs the 51 expected from the above, he said it could be defective and offered either to replace or return for refund. Before I returned it, I tried actually running the device down to 0 with an electric kettle. I saw the percentage tick down to 0 then it stayed stuck at 0 for some time before it quit, indicating its remaining estimate was off. I tried recharging it all the way and then started a new test. The second time I found the projections and percentage drained per hour was closer to the expectation. So it could be a fault of the capacity measurement. Besides that, the other annoyance/worry was about the fan which had an audible tick tick tick which initially was a very minor rattling. It's definitely not user replaceable and I didn't like that from a brand-new unit. I also didn't like the way the main 120V socket flexes when you push in the cord, and I couldn't really tell if I pushed it in all the way because of how it flexes (feels as if it could break if banged by accident).

Alert - Needs Software Update
Warning: needs software update! You need version v1.1 not v1.0. They have done a terrible job of getting the word out; we had to spend hours on AI to finally find out that if you want your solar panels to keep charging your power station without pulsing on and off (it'll drive you nuts) you need Jackery to 'push' software version 1.1 to your power station. Its free. It's a well known glitch or bug and for some reason this company has failed to automatically update all power stations that need this upgrade - specifically Jackery Explorer 2000 v2. The unit and solar batteries are fine but the company inexplicably has completely failed to conveniently distribute their bug fix.

Powerful versatility
Extremely efficient productive model! Very pleased with its ability to power my ancient fridge for a long time! Very portable and handy to use for anything! Above and beyond amazing customer service! After awhile I had an issue with my unit and I contacted them and they swiftly sent me a replacement! My favorite solar company! I have a few and this brand is my favorite out of all hands down!

Great product at great price
Jackery Explorer 2000 V2 Review: I'm referring to the equipment as portable power station / PPS / battery. PERFORMANCE: It arrived well packaged and in perfect condition, with 30% charge. Charging was very simple. There is a quiet charging mode, which takes 3x duration to full charge, but is also quieter. I thought full charge speed was a nice, quiet, pleasant white / no need for the quiet charge option. Quiet charging is unneeded for us, but a neat feature. I didn't realize when shopping that there was a light on the power station (dim, bright, SOS pattern options), so that's good. I created a Jackery account and paired the device with the app, which was all simple. I guess the best part of the app is being able to remotely see the % battery left. For what it's worth though, you can remotely turn on each segment of the power station (DC / USBs, AC / normal wall outlets, and the light) too. We unplugged the fridge from the wall and plugged it into the PPS. Treated the fridge as we normally do, opening when we needed to take something out / put something in, dispensing water. It lasted for 21.3 hours. The battery also has pass-through charging, meaning you can plug the PPS into the wall while power is on, and the fridge (or other equipment) will charge from the battery. If we're away from the house while the power comes back on, the fridge will switch to being powered from the wall (via the PPS) while the battery starts to recharge in preparation for the next power loss event. The charging speed during pass-through charging is roughly the same as charging while not powering anything (~1500W). We also tested pass-through charging by turning the breaker off (simulating power loss) while the fridge was plugged into the PPS and the PPS plugged into the wall. The transition from pass-through to battery was seamless. The fridge lights never even flickered through wall-power loss and through changing back to pass-through charging. Given this capability, I could see using it as a battery backup for our sump pump, with the sump pump always plugged into the PPS, which would always be plugged into the wall. _________(I haven't dont research to verify if there will be any effect on life of product if used that way.)__________ The alternative is the PPS sitting in on a shelf in the basement, waiting to either be manually deployed as a fridge backup, or in the rare case of outdoor camping use. WEIGHT: When I first picked it up, I was happy we went with Jackery, being the least heavy among competitors (EcoFlow, Anker, Bluetti). At 40 lbs, it's heavy for sure, but much more manageable for taking up/down the stairs than competitors' 50-60 lb devices of equal capacity. I was also able to hoist it onto the counter when needed. PRICE: Black Friday, 2024: We purchased from Amazon on Black Friday for $800 ($900, plus a $100 "coupon" that you just need to click the checkbox for). At the time, Jackery was selling for $900 (no coupon). I found the Jackery Explorer 2000 V2 to be comparable, but ~$100-200 lower cost than competitors mentioned above. Dec6, 2024: Amazon is back to selling for the regular listed price of $1500, with no sale. Jackery is back to the regular listed price of $1500, but with a $600 "coupon" automatically applied at checkout. This sale is the "Christmas Sale!" December 3-8. So Jackery's Black Friday sale wasn't exclusive to Black Friday. Dec12, 2024: Amazon: sale for $900 Jackery: sale for $1100 (listed at $1500, with $400 coupon) LONGEVITY: I have only had this product for about a week, so I can not speak to the longevity of the product.

Awesome travel companion!
This device is great! I can get about 2 days of camping out of a full charge. So far Iโve been lucky that the cape sites have had a 12-volt outdoor socket. I picked up an RV converter and Iโm looking at the DC to DC Alternator by Jackery. The cigarette lighter cannot be replied upon. One can drive all day and only get a few percentage points of power.

This is my second Jackery I needed more power, and purchased this one We have blackouts in my area, so Iโve used it for my keurig, fans, and a hot plate It holds a charge well, and I have the solar panels just in case I check the charge levels on all of my devices once a month so Iโm not caught off guard

Love This!
Iโm loving this. Handy to have power without having the noise of our portable generator. It is easy to carry which means I can easily relocate it around the house to power different appliances as required.

Best purchase!!
This product is awesome ๐, I plug it in to my rv 30 amp plug with adapter to run power to my rv instead of running generator all the time. Will not run A/C, use generator for that. It will run microwave and water heater individually (not at same time). Great for quiet mornings and the evenings!!!

Wayyy heavier than I thought!
I just received it and had to get the shipping guy to bring it right into the house cause I can barely lift it. I'm a small-sized woman so I'd imagine most people wouldn't have as much trouble. I haven't tried it out yet but I'll update my review when I do.
