- With the super smooth, tempered glass plate that measures 9 7/8” wide x 11 13/16” long and a full 5/16” thick, you’ll be able to sharpen the vast majority of tools in your workshop. The Fulton glass plate is the perfect size to place 4 different grit sheets of sandpaper on it (two grits per side). This allows you to begin your honing process at a coarser grit and progressively step your way up to a finer grit for that perfect edge..
- Included along with the glass plate is the super handy aluminum honing guide. The guide can hold blades, chisels or plane irons up to 3 1/16” in width and approximately 1/8” thick. The aluminum honing guide features an easy to adjust knob for tool width and an extra wide roller to make rolling the guide across the glass plate super smooth.
