Eye Revitalize – Red Light Therapy for Dark Circles & Eye Bags

The item looked used the packaging was torn, the charger cord wasn’t folded and secured with the twist tie. On top of the the item didn’t work, felt an uncomfortable burning or stinging sensation. I can’t use it.

This is my second device like this, and I ordered this one after mildly liking (but not loving) the last one, in hopes that this one would be better. Unfortunately, the quality just isn't there (at least for the unit I received) and this one is a miss for me. I absolutely love the pink color, and I find this fairly comfortable and unobtrusive; I was able to wear this while working on the computer with no issues. But that's where the good parts end. In the spirit of giving this a real chance, I tried four separate sessions. Each time, it would not turn on; the battery had died and I had to charge it just to get one single session. I'm assuming this is a quality control issue and not the case with every single unit, but...not a great first impression. While this is comfortable enough to wear (and does include a strap similar to a sunglasses leash to keep it on your face if you experience sliding issues), the fit is odd. The treatment area hits more of my upper cheek area than my eye area, and I cannot get the contact required to feel the microcurrent on both sides. That issue could be solved with a flexible or hinged nose bridge area, to fit a wider range of face shapes. The strength of both the red light and microcurrent are...disappointing. It just feels weak, and I'm not sure I can see this being strong enough for any kind of results. This may have a lower price point than purchasing two separate devices (red light mask or red light eye mask and microcurrent device), but the value just isn't there. I would have rated this a bit higher without the battery/charging issue and if it were adjustable across the nose bridge. I'm generally willing to go a bit overboard when it comes to skincare/anti-aging, even if that means having a few redundancies or things that aren't super-effective. If you're looking for a kind of extra add-on that just might provide a little boost, this is super easy to use and really takes no time out of the day and very little effort. For me, though, I'll stick with using a separate red light mask and my small eye-area microcurrent wand.
