James C Brett Flutterby Chunky Knitting Wool (B36 Light Grey)

If you have to unpick your knitting this yarn isn’t good, the fluffiness drops off it and you’re left with bits of bare thread that you can’t hide. So, a few stitches unpicked might be ok but a couple of rows isn’t.I showed the problem to the manufacturer and they sent me loads of balls of yarn as compensation, so a superb company to deal with, but not a yarn I’d buy again. It’s beautifully soft and snuggly until something goes wrong.

Lovely soft wool that will be best for any baby projects or people that need a softer feel against their skin.Little bit unusual to knit with to start with as I think it feels like cotton wool.I reduced a star for how the wool comes out of center. If you do buy I'd always advise to use outside end to start project. Pulling from the center brings out massive clumps of wool which are unmanageable to unravel whilst knitting. I love this wool I am knitting a blanket for the arrival of my next grandson it knits up so quick I am knitting the J C Brett pattern for the blanket I will be doing all 3 with this wool

Bought several of these to make my Grandmotber a throw / shawl, she absolutely loves the finished product, I should have photographed it before I have it to her!

I ordered this to make a teacosy - it's described as 'chunky' but is in fact quite a bit thicker. As a result I've my teacosy is too big - but it's a lovely dark blue colour, and very soft. Just that I don't think it's really 'chunky' or certainly at the thicker end of that description.

This is the only seller I have seen selling the darker colours in this wool.Really happy with purchase. Would recommend.
