why do these say high capacity, when they look and have the same mah as the 16 battery seller?

2800mAh is high capacity. Check other rechargeable cells. you will find some as low as 600mAh.

Would these batteries be able to power my yamaha ypg 535 portable keyboard for 3 -4 hours of constant use?

We use them in a KORG Kross every week for about 4 hours and they work great.

they come with a partial charge. they can be used immediately, but you will have better results if you charge them. (product listed as having 15-20% charge for shipping)
