Q: can you use this for just argb strips or just argb case fans?

Dear customer, it maybe could be workable theoretically, but we didn't use on strips before.

Q: will this fan hub power corsair AF120 RGB ELITE 120mm?

You will need a FAN/RGB hub! This one will only power up the fans

Q: My case does not have an rgb or argb header on it will this run my argb fans? Right now they are hooked to the 3 pin and just run but no color.

You can connect your motherboard to try it out.
