True to size and works as intended. Flexible so it is easy to put on. Note that this year I received clear white with no design (no bee) as pictured. It does not bother me whatsoever but it may be disappointing to others. I get one size up every year as we grow up and last year it was the design pictured.My only suggestion for improvement would be to start printing the label instead like some kids brands have started doing, because the ones sewn in are itchy for babies and have to be cut immediately.

The material for this shirt is good quality lycra or swimsuit material. I think it will hold up well, but I haven't tested it's UV protection abilities yet.I have two girls who wear 18 month clothes and 3t or 4t so I purchased this shirt in 3 sizes (24 month, 3t, and 4t). My 2.5 year old wears 3t in normal clothes and this shirt it super loose and baggy. This might be the difference between how girls' clothes and boys' clothes fit (since this is unisex), but I expected that a rash guard would be snug like cotton pajamas fit, so I got the bigger size too. Other than the sleeves being a little short, she actually fits in the 24 month size. For a day at the beach, it's safe to get your normal size, but if you want to use it in the pool, you might want to size down (said no mom ever). But seriously, it would be hard to swim in.If you want to compare. I laid a 4t Carter's long sleeve pajama top on top of the 3t rash guard. The length of the sleeves and the body are the same, but the body of the rash guard is about 3/4" wider on either side and the sleeves are about an inch wider.

I bought this for my toddler to wear on our Caribbean vacation last summer. The fit was as expected. My child is on the small side (5th percentile) so at 18 months, we bought him the 12 month size and it fit just right. The collar is a bit tight for his head, however, so it is a struggle to get on and off which he hates. I bought the lime green color which I find helps me spot him quicker if he were to get lost.As for sun protection, I was blown away. The label says it has a upf of 50+. The only part of his upper body that was tanned were his hands. His torso, back and arms were not tanned at all and this is from hours on the beach. This is much easier than having to constantly reapply sunscreen on an active child. I feel like the rashguard provides better sun protection not to mention that it also helps with preventing mosquito bites because he's covered. I am definitely going to buy larger sizes for this coming summer because the sun protection is great. I will probably size up so we won't have to struggle to get the collar over his head.

The material is nice quality, lots of stretch, and lightweight. Blocked the Sun all day at the beach on my 11 month old. We went with 24 month size since he’s pretty chunky, and it fit as expected.

Protects our son’s skin well in the sun. We got a 12-month size for our 19lbs 4-month old and its the perfect size except for the lenght - the cut of the shirt is pretty short and it rides up very easily.

Love these for quick effective sun protection. Haven’t had any trouble keeping the white white despite all the watermelon juice stains we’ve gotten on it

This product is what I was looking for, with good UV protection for our daughter, who loves playing in the sand at the beach, so I don't have to worry about running out of sunblock. We live in Florida, and in a hot day, this will not feel super hot like other fabrics I've seen. It seems light, and if you wet it, you get to cool her down too. The reviews are right, the neck is tight, but that was expected in order to protect the neck. The length is also shorter than I thought, since I bought the 4T for my 2T baby girl, and I thought it would be slightly longer to cover her more when she bends down. Will need to tuck it in from now on to prevent sunburn on the lower back. My only complaint is that it's not as unisex as I wish. If it was all white, it would have been better, since I have a boy that will end up using this in the future, and the green stripe seems more for boys, so I was hoping to find a plain white one so that she could wear it while passing it on to baby boy in the future. Overall, a good product for the beach or pool.

Based on the numerous reviews regarding how tight the neck hole is and how small this rash guard runs, I purchased this in the XL (18-24mos) for my almost 14 month old baby. She is off the charts in height and 80th percentile in weight. She wears a 12-18 months in BabyGap and 18mos in Carters/Janie and Jack, for reference. I had purchased this rash guard back when she was only 3-4 months old, and it was WAY too tight when I got it based on the sizing chart off the iplay website. I sized up this time, which I guess is the best way to go. She was swimming in the XL b/c it was so loose on her, and the arm sleeves were about 5 inches too long. However, she will get VERY long use out of this so I can't complain. I'd rather have it be long enough to cover everything than too small! The sizing chart on Amazon is WAY off, definitely go on the iplay website and look up their chart for reference before buying, and also beware that it will not fit the way you think it will.

Para mi bebé de 2 años, compramos la talla 3T por los comentarios que así lo recomendaban, y resultó cierto, le quedó algo grande de las mangas pero mejor, para mayor protección del sol. No sé bronceo para nada y es fresca, se seca muy rápido . Buena compra y bonito color. Recomendable.
