Definitely worth the buy!
Was skeptical about the chainsaw but glad I bought it. Probably one of the best ones you can buy for the money. I've cut about 25 trees in one day and it never skipped a beat. It does have minor flaws but for the price im not complaining at all! It is a little heavier than some saws, the bar oil cap is in a little tight spot if you have bigger hands and I had to tighten the chain up just a couple times. But overall I would highly recommend and would order another one in the future for a backup or if I had a buddy helping me.

I wish I saw this review before I bought this saw!
I’ve used many STIHL saws for work but wanted something at my house that would be relatively cheap and came across this saw. I’m thinking to myself that I could buy 6 of these saws for every STIHL. I got it just in time as a storm blew over an 18” diameter hickory. I cut the entire tree up into firewood lengths and cut the canopy into easy sizes for the chipper. Saw ran great and went through about 3-4 tanks of gas. Now for the “You get what you pay for”. (1) Saw was pinched in the log and I was trying to rock it back and forth to remove and the handle actually collapsed and was very thin metal. (2) There is no throttle stay when trying to start and it never started on 1-3 pulls even when warm. (3) The pull cord is awkward and doesn’t engage the motor immediately. (4) The caps for gas and oil are screw in and pretty cheap. The first time I used the saw the oil was not screwed all the way down and leaked oil everywhere without me noticing. (5) The nut that holds the chain bar vibrated lose and lost it. Went to the hardware store and got another with groves on it so harder to come lose. (6) I had some other limbs around the house that I wanted to cut on the second day and the saw wouldn’t even start after 2 attempts of pulling 20-30 times with about 2 hours in between in case it was flooded. Went out the next day and bought a STIHL so I lost $ on this saw. I wish I had seen a review like this before I purchased.

VEVOR is slept on for homeowner/DIY projects.
Haven’t assembled it yet but just checked everything out. Package came before it said it was going to arrive and in great shape. I have other VEVOR projects and they are great for how much I need them. This probably won’t outlast a Husqvarna or a Stihl but for the price to own and the amount I will use it this is a great product.

Good enough chainsaw, Amazon so so and hopefully review has helpful info.
A rating of 3.5 stars would be most accurate. But I rounded up since the saw did exceed what was rather low expectations on my part. Based on reviews, this seems to rather a lottery type purchase. There is roughly 75% chance you'll love the saw and a roughly 25% chance you'll regret the purchase. I don't regret the purchase. Why? And why my low initial expectations? It was going to cost $72 a day to rent a 20" gas chainsaw from Home Depot. With transportation and waiting I'd be out a couple of hours every time I rented one. So basically if this saw worked for two days I'd save both time and money. I've used the saw three days now. And day three was the best in terms of ease of starting. So....exceeds expectations. Now a few things to go over 1) It can be finicky about starting. No surprise for small two stroke engines. It floods easily so the Choke IS NOT your friend. Ignore the instructions VEVOR sends on starting. Follow the internet advice. Cold it's switch on - (and "O" is the OFF position) choke out, pull twice, push choke in and pull till it starts (usually 2-4 times). If it doesn't start repeat the steps. It FLOODS EASY!!! Do not leave the choke out more than 2-3 pulls. The advice for starting it if it has flooded is like the game of twister. You have to hold the throttle wide open while you crank it. But to start normally and safely you need a foot and both hands. Holding the throttle wide open needs a third hand. Get help. Once it's been running a while it starts easy first pull. EXCEPT if you let it run out of gas. Then cross your fingers because it probably will take lots of pulls and sweating to get it going again. So I learned to use it for a while then turn it off and top off the tank. 2) As some other reviews have mentioned, the saw I got leaks bar oil when stored. Makes it a bit messy. I've put a plastic tray underneath it like people use pet food/water bowls. Saw lives in my yard barn which is messy anyway so not a horrid problem. But it is a defect and if you keep your yard tools inside a nice. clean shop or garage you might want to place it on something to catch any oil leaking until you know if you got one that does leak. 3) The saw does cut really well. I don't have enough experience with gas chainsaws to compare to the more expensive brands. It seems unlikely the much more expensive brands of chainsaws cut way better since this one does really seem to have plenty of power and cuts thick and hard wood quickly. It's way, WAY more powerful and faster cutting than my 14" electric (plug in) chainsaw. 4) Amazon won't let you return this if you get a defective one. Other - brick and mortar retailers with lots of locations - sell this same saw online at similar prices and it can be returned. Often online and always to a store. If it's gas powered Amazon say it's hazardous to ship back. Hmmm. They shipped it to me.... Anyway - keep this in mind and maybe it should be purchased somewhere else or maybe it's especially wise to purchase the warranty. Amazon doesn't want it back but the insurance will cover either fixing it or give $$ back.

Impressive power
Powerful, full size chainsaw. This works great. I've used it to buck a large (~40" DBH) tree that was in my yard. Handled it well. It's not as nice as a Stihl or Husqvarna, but it's a great saw for 25% the cost of the equivalents from those brands. Only cons are that it's a bit heavy and the chain it comes with isn't the best quality, but it's a fantastic value.

Read for yourself.
Alright Ive cut down trees my whole life. Started a tree company at 17. Had all the saws take them apart all that. So here is the only review you need. 1. First and foremost if your apart of tree business day in day out, dont get this plain and simple. Won't make it through the week. 2. Its not a 20" true bar!!! Its about a 18.5". A stihl 20" chain is about 5 links too long. 3. It is very loose and vibrates badly and all the wiggle and play in it feels like its going to fall apart in your hands. 4. It has like this easy pull which is actually a pain! You have to start it on the ground with foot through the handle. The resistance or easy start pull wont let you pull it and start in your hand. 5. If you need a quick project done or natural disaster strikes or a homeowner messing with firewood sure get it. Not a bad engine very powerful actually and very fast cutting. Might be true to its hp.. but it womt hold up. Not long at all. I once dropped a stihl from 65 feet. The cover popped off and trigger separated a little. 5 min and it was good to go again no problem. This thing would be in 100 pieces. And its a little heavy for so much plastic. *UPDATE* Chainsaw has barley been used. Took it to cut down a very small tree maybe 15 inches across. Super sharp and still almost new, the chainsaw doesn't have the power the do it without stopping. It boasts 62 cc and more horsepower then a stihl. Thats a lie. There is no way this thing has that much power. It wouldn't be struggling with this tree. The more I use it, the more I wouldn't recommend it.

Swamped and still runs
I was crossing the river behind my house to cut a tree that had fallen in. I slipped and dropped the saw in the water. After dragging it out to shore, I was amazed it started and blew what looked like a quart of water out the exhaust. I ran it for a bit, and it appears to be fine.

Vevor Chainsaw
This chainsaw is powerful at 62cc amd is designed a lot like the Poulan brand chainsaws. I had a Poulan Wild Thing for 28 years and it operated flawlessly! I think new Vevor saw will do the same! More power , bigger saw! Love it so far!

It's a great budget saw. Not hammer. Be nice.
Well worth the price. I paid $179 after tax. You can't hire a crew to clear a fencline cheaper than that. I used to run a saw as part of my employment for 10 years. It isn't a Stihl or a husky that's for sure. My old STIHL 462 would leave this in the dust but that's not the point. Assembles in minutes from the box. Chain is cheap but it cuts. The trigger, choke, stoppers for fuel and bar oil are definitely cheap and I would recommend being easy on them to avoid breaking them. Be sure to check your bar oil flow. From factory mine was not spraying at all and I had to really open up that adjustment screw then it was fine. Do not drop start this saw to avoid breaking the guide for the pull chord. It literally has a sticker telling you to pull straight up so guys that are breaking those... Well that's on them. Anyway great budget saw, be nice to it and don't handle it like a neanderthal and it will probably last. Included photos of the fence line I had to cutout. One tank of fuel and maybe 45 minutes of my time. The saw kept up fine.

Get what you pay for, super cheap and complicated replacement.
First unit received was extremely defective. Awful client service from VEVOR, feeding you with 24-48 hours responds and no solutions.... luckily, Amazon got this and sent me another unit.Missing chainsaw cover. Worked with it 10 minutes, the engine started smoking and smelt like burnt plastic, it shut off and would not start again. Pulling rope came off, and plastic melt from pulling the rope trying to start it again. Checked the gas and when put plug back on, filets went off. So now can't even close the gas tank. Oil tank sucked the plug in, when tried to open it with the tool, plastic broke off....all screws coming loose while using it, almost lost exhaust... Replaced pulling rope 3 times to try restart the machine... Will see if VEVOR ever responds and fixes the saw, as it's still guaranteed, because I've bought the tool only 8 days ago 😅🤔

Bougie d'origine pas fiable.
Rapport qualité prix incroyable. J'ai toutefois remplacé la bougie d'origine par une NGK bprm7a suite a des ratés d'allumage.

Gets the job done and more!
I don’t really write many reviews but I feel I have to in this case. I had to cut down a couple of huge trees that were leaning towards my house. Had a professional bring them down but it was up to me to cut them into small logs. So I ordered the 20 inch chainsaw and it NEVER disappointed. First off, it started in less than 30 seconds the first time. Was expecting longer because of some of the reviews. Then only one pull to start every time after that. I cut a lot of wood yesterday and had no trouble at all. I have no clue if it will last me 10 years but at 159$, I already got my moneys worth! But how strong that thing cut through all that wood I think it’ll be used fora lot more projects to come. Awesome value!
