Consistent quality
I have bought this brown rice and Niskhki's white rice for many years. It's grown in California and the price is a little bit higher than other rice, but I think it's worth it. The quality is consistent; it cooks up well in a cheap rice cooker and tastes good by itself or with seasoning and stir-fry.

Perfectly Cooked and Nutritious!
Nishiki Premium Brown Rice has exceeded my expectations in several ways. As someone who appreciates good quality rice, I found this product to be a fantastic choice. The rice cooks perfectly in my Zojirushi rice cooker on the brown rice setting. Following the line inside the pot for how much water to add and how many cups ensures consistent results every time. The grains come out firm yet tender, maintaining their integrity without becoming mushy. In terms of flavor, Nishiki Premium Brown Rice has a subtle nuttiness that I really enjoy. It adds a delicious depth to dishes and pairs well with a variety of cuisines. Whether serving it alongside stir-fries, curries, or using it in sushi rolls, it consistently enhances the meal. Another aspect that pleasantly surprised me was the value for money. Despite its premium quality, Nishiki rice is actually more affordable than what I used to buy at my local Asian grocery store. This makes it not only a superior choice in terms of quality but also a cost-effective option for regular use. Packaging-wise, the 15-pound bag is convenient for storage and ensures that I always have a steady supply on hand without worrying about running out too quickly. Overall, I highly recommend Nishiki Premium Brown Rice to anyone looking for a reliable and flavorful option for their pantry. Its consistent quality, great texture, and competitive pricing make it a standout choice in the realm of brown rice options available today.

Excellent rice but a bit sticky
FYI: Instructions on picture here are different from my packaging. Mine says 1c rice and 1 1/2c water. Just cooked my first batch of this. What a difference from normal store bought brown rice. This rice is chewy and and has a nutty flavor which I love. Won't be going back to store bought again. Instructions say to soak rice 30 minutes and then cook 30m. I soaked a little longer and then cooked it but still had water left over. When saving in a container I noticed it's really sticky. Not sure how to fluff the rice to get them to not stick. I would love that restaurant quality style where each piece is separate. Any tips let me know. I'll keep experimenting. Edit: Double batched this time, 2c rice 3c water 1tsp salt after soaking 30m. Cooked 30m, had a lot of water left, so I let it go 20 minutes longer and it's ok. Still sticky. Will try rice cooker next.

Quality brown rice
Takes twice as long to cook compared to white rice, but worth it for the nutrients and health benefits. I didnโt see any bugs as raised in some other reviews but do agree the packaging can use some upgrade.
