Are these strech jeans?

Everyone is confusing the "stretch" matter here. Levi's makes 559's in a "stretch" version, which is constructed with more elastine and have more "give". These stretch versions will have the word "STRETCH" clearly written on the label just as the poster below has indicated. The jeans I ordered here were NOT the stretch version. Believe the stretch versions are only available in certain colors. The colors I ordered were "Tumble Ridge" and "Indigo Black". Hopefully this alleviates any confusion.

The product page does not say stretch, but the pair I received definitely was. I saw this on another website: 100% cotton except on noted washes.Black: 99% cotton, 1% elastane.Cash, Levine, Lookout, Steely Blue: 98% cotton, 2% elastane.Shaded Valley: 93% cotton, 6% polyester, 1% elastane.

when did this line switch to stretch? I have multiple pairs that are not stretch.

When I purchased the prelast pair. If I remember correctly it was last December or maybe January, when I received a stretching pair of this jeans.
