Review: Energy boost - 5 hour energy is an effective drink to get a quick boost as needed. Receiving 30 bottles at a time and having it delivered to the house is very convenient so you have the boost when needed. Review: Works For Me - I'm an insomniac, and every morning, I wake up tired. Every. Morning. My nurse practitioner prescribed a medication that is supposed to help keep me alert during the day, but it doesn't work nearly as well as these 5 Hour Energy shots do. Usually, they keep me going. Once, I did down two of these within five minutes, and a few minutes later, went to bed and fell into a deep, restorative sleep. That, however, is a testament to how exhausted I was, not the efficacy of these shots. I stay stocked on these puppies, though ironically, they're more expensive than the stay-awake prescription I have. If you like grape, or can at least tolerate it, and if you take caffeine, then these are worth a try to keep you awake and alert.
