Why does this cost 3X as much as 8.5x11 paper?

Guess that is a question for the seller, but it is a specialty paper. It is a 24lb paper and bright white. It worked great for my project and would buy it again. I could use a paper cutter and cut 8 1/2 x 11 into half sheets, but I would not be happy with the accuracy of the cut.
