I’ve been a long-time fan of the Scimitar series, and the Corsair Scimitar Elite Wireless SE is exactly the upgrade I was hoping for. Moving from a wired model to this wireless version has been a game-changer for my desk setup, and it loses none of the precision or functionality that makes this line great. Unmatched Customization The standout feature is still the patented 12-button side key slider. Being able to physically adjust the position of the side buttons to match my thumb grip is a must-have for me, and it ensures that I can reach every single command without straining. With 16 fully programmable buttons in total, it feels like I have an entire control center right under my hand. Whether you're mapping spells, macros, or productivity shortcuts, the flexibility here is unmatched. Wireless Freedom & Performance I was initially worried about lag, but the SLIPSTREAM wireless technology is rock-solid. It feels just as fast as a wired connection, and the 33,000 DPI MARKSMAN S sensor is incredibly accurate. I’ve been using it for both intense MMO raiding and detailed productivity work, and the tracking is pixel-perfect every time. Plus, the battery life is fantastic—I can go for marathon gaming sessions without constantly reaching for a charging cable. Build & Feel The mouse feels sturdy and high-quality, and the ergonomic right-handed shape is comfortable enough for those long, all-day sessions. The click feel on the buttons is consistent and tactile, giving good feedback when things get chaotic in-game. Why I’d Recommend It * True Wireless Precision: No noticeable latency, even in fast-paced encounters. * Perfect Thumb Ergonomics: The adjustable key slider is still the best solution on the market for MMO mice. * Exceptional Battery Life: I rarely have to think about charging, even with heavy use. * Versatile Connectivity: Having the option to switch between 2.4GHz wireless for gaming and Bluetooth for other devices is super convenient. Verdict If you play MMOs or MOBAs and want a high-performance, comfortable wireless mouse that doesn’t compromise on button count or customizability, this is the one to get. This is more of a "first impressions" review right now, and there's no immediate red flags. I'll update this later once I've put some hours in with it. Off the jump, this mouse feels amazing in my hand. I have pretty big hands, and I'm coming from a Logitech G600 for comparison. The Scimitar is around the same size? It's slightly longer top to bottom, and slightly narrower side to side, but my hand still rests very comfortably on the mouse. It's noticeably lighter than the G600, too, which is great for FPS gaming. There's a screw on the bottom of the mouse with an included allen key to let you adjust the position of the 12-button panel so you can adjust your thumb's reach. Super nice idea, but when you loosen the screw, the panel moves way too loosely, so you have to hold it in your hand firmly while tightening the screw with your probably non-dominant hand. To make matters worse, the included allen key is not quite the right size for the screw, so it skips while you're tightening it back down. (And no, I'm not over-tightening it - it's still able to move very loosely at that point!) That aside, it feels very good in the hand and very responsive. I don't notice any drop outs or latency, and the included USB A to C cable is very high quality. If you care about Linux compatibility, then I'm happy to report no issues thus far. (I have not and will not download the Corsair software to customize the mouse at all, so no comments on that. If you care about that, then try it at your own risk.)

I've owned too many of these. Sadly, they're the best MMO mouse out there for me since I'm an old gamer and need the thumb adjustment for the side numerical keypad to allow my gnarled arthritic hands to function in game properly. I've had two previous models fail due to sudden connection failure and mouse wheel issues. I figured fine, I'll try this new SE version in white. When iCue is painstakingly, annoyingly set up correctly and all its bizarre UI foibles deciphered, the mouse is successfully connected (no guarantee there) and battery charged up, it's great. The performance and functionality is great. It's smooth, fast, highly adjustable, fits my hand better than others except for the insane, mystifying textured flared pinky 'rest' on the right forward bottom edge. What the heck were they thinking, there? OK, that's the good part. The bad: Connectivity using the dongle is very, very short-range. You can't even have the dongle on the opposite side of a LAPTOP without it stuttering/skipping, let alone off on a USB hub somewhere or, even worse, your desktop on the floor or something. Also bad: Battery life is ridiculously poor. I've got it set to 2 minutes sleep time and even with occasional use it lasts maybe three days or so before requiring a recharge, and it gives no notification the battery is getting low - you have to check the abominable iCue app or pop up the taskbar group icons. There's also problems with having to re-pair the mouse after having used it for months - it will suddenly no longer pair with the PC or iCue, and naturally the pairing process is a pain to do. I'd honestly just look for something that offers similar functions.

I really love the feel of the mouse and the fact that it’s adjustable. It’s very sleek, and easy to use. However, the only reason that it’s not a 5 is the wireless and Corsair app could be much better. It loses connectivity and lags when connected via wireless, even though my computer tower is only like 3 ft away from my mouse. I just leave it plugged in and works great. Their app is a bit buggy and doesn’t always apply your settings correctly and isn’t exactly the best user experience.

At first I absolutely loved this mouse. about 3 months later I am either having issues with Icue or the mouse is going nuts. I will say the it feels good in the hand and i love using it when gaming but its hard to get support when your having issues and your 30 days is up with amazon. Its pretty unfortunate to be honest. If it was working right this would be the perfect mouse, and thats coming from someone with arthritus. Adjusting the buttons is a great feature to make it easier on the hands. This may be a temporary issue as it still works in wired mode but as soon as i use wireless the mouse keeps switching profiles over and over. Without support I feel a bit lost on what to do with it. Their FAQ didnt help much.

Pros: 1. Great look and feel. Clicks are satisfying and the tactile feel is too. Beautifully lightweight. 2. Thumb position(s) are amazing. It was already set to furthest back and it's perfect for the size of my hand. 3. The best Pro IMO, is how they raised/lowered height and textured the thumb buttons. I intuitively know what button I'm on and it's such a thoughtful feature. 4. Install/drivers was somewhat easy after some back and forth. 5. The programming options for the buttons is beautifully intuitive and vast. Not a feature I expected, but a welcome one. 6. Optional on-board memory so you can forgo the software after setup (another great feature). 7. Responsiveness feels nice, even better than my wired G502. 8. It's NOT logitech's hot garbage software. Cons: 1. Even though the instructions for pairing were easy, they needed to be very specific on a particular step. It says to hold the mouse over the receiver for it to pair, but at first it wasn't working. I had to move the dongle to a different port and literally touch it with the mouse (in which the last spot had cables blocking me from tapping it). 2. I expected unique "keys" that would be a part of the thumb buttons, but that apparently doesn't exist and is disappointing. It naturally conflicts with your number keys, so you have to reprogram all of them. Honestly not corsair's fault because it seems unique "keys" don't exist beyond what is on a typical keyboard. There's options for keys F13-F24, but most games do NOT recognize them. 3. More of a personal Con, but I'm used to picking up the mouse to readjust my aim. There's kind of no spot to place the thumb to do that, but because it's so light, I can kind of still do it with my thumb on the buttons without pressing them. Honestly, skill issue. Notes: 1. Can't comment on battery life since I've only owned it for like a day. The placement for the charge/connection port is nice though, you can just use it like a wired mouse while charging. 2. For value, I may not be the best source. Full price (at this time), $140, would have been too steep for me to even consider. It's sale price (currently), $100, would have been decently acceptable. Especially since "MMO" mice options are a little scarce, especially when Razer and Logitech are on my naughty list. I bought it used, $77, from Amazon reseller. Box was messed up and missing the manual, but the mouse/cord itself was pristine. You don't need those anyways. 3. Props to the used purchase option. I've yet to get anything faulty so far, so give it a try if you want to save. Make sure it's amazon and read the descriptions on the condition.

Absolutely amazing. Even has three hardware profiles you can set the keys to. I use it for AutoCAD and programming 😅

Very good mouse so far. Mine came opened and used though! I called them about it and said they needed an expert and to call another day. I kept the unit because it was not used extensively and couldn’t be without that mouse for days until I got a replacement, so watch out.

Upgraded from the very first version of wired scimitar. I’ve used so many other mice in between, but I still come back to Corsair at the end. This mouse just feels good. Compared with the first gen scimitar elite version, the clicks feel much better and snappier. The grip size is pretty much the same. Plastic feels a little more premium. Overall, I enjoy using this mouse

Für mich einfach die perfekte Maus Wenn man die RGB Beleuchtung ausschaltet (was ziemlich leicht geht in der Software) hält der Akku knapp eine Woche Alles in Allem würde ich sie mir erneut kaufen
