I love the Midea MAW05R1BWT-A 5000 BTU air conditioner. I bought it for my bedroom, and it cools the room quickly and easily. I've been using it for over a month now, and it's performed great. I've seen some reviews saying the unit is too loud, but I personally don't find the noise level to be an issue at all. I also really like the remote control and the straightforward, easy installation. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because of the stupid symbols used on the control panel. It would be much better if they used clear words instead of these symbols, and the font for the words that are printed could also be improved to be more readable. Other than these small issues, I love this AC unit, it works great so far, and I would definitely recommend it.

Definitely worth every penny! Purchased to put in the window of a fifth wheel camper on the backside of the property. The ac that is in the main living area quit blowing cold, and the bedroom unit couldn’t keep up with the East Tennessee heat. This unit was small enough to fit in a window on a slide out and totally compensates for the one that quit. Super easy to install and the noise level is about the same of any other window unit I’ve ever heard running. Definitely recommend as far as the price is concerned!

Got this to use in my off grid tiny home. I have 800w solar into 1 Redodo battery and then to a 1500w inverter. I did a test run and it works like a charm, it's super quiet, pulls a max of just 380w, and in a 79F degree room it was blowing out 58F degree air; a 20 degree drop is very nice. Looking forward to installing this. If there's any issues I'll surely update my review otherwise assume I'm nice and cool in my lil palace!

It's Midea, what can I say,have them in 3 rooms,replaced each one after 4 years, installed myself, keeps 3 small bedrooms cool,low noise,works great
