Exceptional Laptop stays cool and has awesome graphics
This laptop comes with both the intel internal graphics plus the RTX 5080. You can change between the two if you desire. Intel for regular computing battery saving or RTX 5080 for gaming. The LAN is very fast 2.5G and the Wi-Fi 7 works great too. I have had no issues only great performance so far. I highly recommend but this is not a cheap laptop, and you get what you pay for! Battery life is good, and the initial setup is very easy. You can customize the lights too.

Great laptop!
Even though she is loud, I love this laptop. I’ve been gaming on her for three years and she’s still running strong with my graphic settings maxed. Planning on getting my husband this one as well.

Absolutely Incredible Machine For Its Price
Well, Asus has done it again. When I realized that my 6-year-old Asus ROG laptop was struggling with the latest programs, I knew it was time to upgrade and let the old system just handle day-to-day work. The lack of camera in this laptop and the smaller size did put me off a little bit, but I saw the specs, price, and brand and gave it a shot.I was absolutely delighted. I wanted to play Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, a brand-new game notorious for its huge file size and resource-hungry system requirements. Its programmers went all out to make use of 4k effects and high-quality environmental textures that strain many other systems. This laptop, however, barely bats an eyelash. All settings run on ultra with only the tiniest, barely-noticeable stutter, and this may be due to the software's poor optimization, an issue that Survivor's programmers have noticed and are working on. The fans are audible when playing this game and it gets quite hot, but a cooling pad and playing with headphones easily takes care of both problems. And for this price! I have not added any additional memory or upgraded any graphics hardware, and still it functions like this right out of the box--all for just shy of 2k. Asus engineers, you deserve a raise.

Not a premium feel but has premium functionality.
Bought the SCAR for my Son (August 2022) to replace his gaming needs while in college. Easy setup and upgrades for RAM and HDD. Ripped one of the RGB cables when we opened the bottom cover but was able to fix it (like they knew this would be an issue). Used Crucial website to verify compatibility. Battery does beat his school laptop (Dell E-series). He plays Dauntless, POE, WWZ, M/craft w/ mods, and has a pretty lengthy Steam catalogue of AAA titles. He prefers this laptop over his Dell because it can handle everything at once w/ dual monitors (he can game and work on a powerpoint and watch YouTube at the same time probably). This mofo gets hot in some places near the fingertips, but only after a while (4-6 hrs). The power cable is a literal brick- size and weight. And it gets pretty hot too, so watch your climate. It is not supported by ASUS's USB-C charger at the moment, so you can't use the laptop while charging from that port with anything ASUS offers. The plastic that ASUS uses feels like laundry basket material. I have a Microsoft Studio Laptop (2022) and an HP Envy (2021) that both feel like a sexy sports car (w/out the engine though because they are weak in comparison). This laptop's value is a better deal because of the exceptional performance, decent screen, awesome ports and placement, great warranty and support (we've used twice already for mods), all at a midrange price-point. I recommend this for all casual AAA gamers.

A powerhouse for a steal
My particular job requires the use of many VMs running all at once, so I was really keen on getting a laptop with an i9 processor. Looking in that market, anything with an i9 is easily $2K and onward. I picked this laptop up on the recent Amazon Black Friday deal for $1,649.99 which was an absolute steal! I'm a big fan of the sleek black thin look (which is not common among some of the other gaming laptops like Alienware) along with the option to disable the extra lighting (it looks great with it on). It's just a personal preference of mine to not have my laptop look like a Christmas tree in a professional work environment. I just threw MW2 on here and it runs maxed out with a solid 60 fps throughout. This truly is an all-in-one package for me in terms of work and play. I went out of my way to upgrade my ram to 64 GB for the purposes of running multiple VMs and it runs fantastically. My only caveat (but this is common now-a-days with these manufactured laptops) is the little amounts of bloatware that was present in the operating system; but that was a quick uninstall. All in all, fantastic product with a great build, I am really glad I pulled the trigger on this purchase.
