Does the job perfectly for our pool filter upgrade
No leaks. It fits 1.5 inch Intex hoses perfectly for the Bestway Steel Pro Max pool using Intex 2500 GPH filter upgrade. We added plunger valve fittings at dual suction wall inlets and this simplified connecting their respective hoses. Great price and quick shipping.

Works as intended, but not with Bestway hoses (orange screw collars)
This T fitting feels secure and solid and works as intended with Intex brand hoses but would not work with my original Bestway pool hoses (my Bestway hoses came with orange screw collars). This is because the internal, smooth wall section of the Bestway hose was not deep enough to accomodate the length of the T fitting that fits inside the pool hose. The o-ring on the T connector bottomed out in the pool hose before the screw collar on the hose could reach the threads on the T connector. This was not an issue with Intex brand hoses. If the distance between the o-ring and the pipe threads was shortened, this fitting could be more compatible with other brands of 1.5" pool hoses (Bestway, in particular).

This is the part you’re looking for
If you are converting a Bestway, Intex, or Coleman Pool to a sand filter- this is the part you need! This is the only one that will convert the old pool lines to the larger lines on the filter/pump. Now I gotta return all the other conversion kits I bought that didn’t work and buy more of these. Can we normalize making these manufacturers make everything universal. It’s absolutely ridiculous!

Good replacement
Paddock is a good replacement if you need this type of fitting good workmanship everything seems that’s all intact and will work just fine. I just bought the wrong piece so I’m sending it back, but I just wanted to tell you that you shouldn’t have any issues. just make sure you get the right piece.
