Liquid Death, Rootbeer Wrath, Root Beer-Flavored Sparkling Water, 12-Pack (12oz Cans), Low Calorie & No Artificial Sweeteners

It’s not exactly root beer—but it’s close enough that I can enjoy it without questioning my life choices afterward, which is a win. The flavor has just the right amount of sweetness to feel like a treat without being overwhelming. It’s not sugar-free, so just know that going in, but compared to regular soda, it’s a huge improvement. I can drink a couple of these and still have less sugar than one can of the usual stuff. Also, the branding is just fun—somehow grabbing a Liquid Death makes me drink more fluids, which feels like the most metal way to stay hydrated. I’ve tried most of their flavors and they’re all solid, but that Lemon Lime one and “Dr. Death” are probably my favorites. If you want something that scratches the soda itch without the sugar overload, this is definitely worth it.

Ok, so the 1st time I tried it, I had been drinking straight up root beer, so I was like NOPE, this stuff is trash. Tried it after not having root beer for 4 days and still didn't care for it. 2 more weeks go by and I try it again and guess what? OMGOSH......BAMB.... IT'S THE ONE!! I FREAKING LOVED IT SO MUCH. I finished it way before it wasn't cold cold anymore. That never happens with me. Normally I waste half a can of soda or have to pour it over ice half way through. I don't like to do that because soda melts the ice from the jump and it gets watered down and takes the fizzy bite away. But with the sparkling water that doesn't happen. It has a hint of cream soda with the rootbeer. Not too sweet, but it makes it kinda creamy almost. It's hard to explain. You just need to try it if you enjoy sparkling water, rootbeer and cream soda. Don't give up on your first can and don't drink any sodas before you try this. Just drink plain water for a few days. This will knock your taste buds into outer space. It's wayyyy overpriced and for that reason, I can't buy it again cuz I'm in debt. 😞 But if I somehow receive a miracle, I'm totally stocking up on this flavor of Liquid Death because I could drink it forever. 😋

Generally, I try to stay away from excess sugars. But every now and again, I get a hankering for a little fizzy, sweet beverage. This was a nice alternative, and made me feel a bit better about the little sweet splurge. Realistically, it is not an exact match for the taste of a real root beer, but it does have that kind of earthy, smooth flavor! A worthy, healthier option.
