Excellent value for the price!
I bought this Acer Chromebook Plus 515 for my daughter's first year of online school, and it has exceeded my expectations. The 15.6-inch Full HD touchscreen is bright, clear, and gives her plenty of space for virtual classes, assignments, and research. It starts up quickly, runs smoothly with multiple tabs open, and handles Google Classroom, Zoom, and other school apps without any issues. The battery life easily gets her through the school day, and the keyboard is comfortable for typing assignments. I also appreciate the fast Wi-Fi connection and the clear webcam for video classes. Overall, it's an excellent value for the price and has been a reliable laptop for both schoolwork and everyday use. I would definitely recommend it to other parents looking for a dependable Chromebook for their student's online learning.

No freezing,with many tabs open!
Im enjoying it. I had 33 tabs open at same time,no problems,no freezing,all was good. Its smooth,responsive,and fast. Acer did good with this one! Great 15'6 screen,very clear. Really enjoy surfing with this Glad i bought it!

Product is not as described!!!!
WARNING: Does NOT have a backlit keyboard! Description is wrong.I ordered this exact model (CB515-2HT-33M4) specifically because the "Input & special features" section in the description explicitly says it has a backlit keyboard. It does not!Acer makes several versions of the Chromebook Plus 515, and this specific sub-model does not physically have the light bulbs inside the keyboard. Even the internal ChromeOS software settings say "no shortcut assigned" because the hardware isn't there.If you are buying this because you need to see your keys in the dark, do not buy this model. Amazon's page layout is grouping different models together and sharing incorrect information. I had to return mine immediately. one star because I did not use it. but i think it is a good machine.

Love this Chromebook!
This is a great Chromebook with a nice screen. I love it - it is so much faster than the last one I owned. Battery life is good.

Great Chromebook but shame about the lousy battery life (about 2 hours, not 10 hours as claimed)
Overall this is a very nice Chromebook -- with the latest version OS, a big 15" touchscreen, seemingly good build-quality and good form/function. But the claim of "up to 10 hours of battery life" is a big fat lie. Maybe if you're not doing anything with it? Like if the screen is in sleep mode for most of the time while you have a single or just a couple documents displayed? Maybe then the battery would last 5 or 6 hours...but even then, no way 10 hours. I use my Chromebook pretty normally, to browse the web, do social media, watch some videos, handle email and write documents....doing this, the brand new battery in this brand new computer lasts 2 to 3 hours. Not good!

Perfect everyday computer.
I am using it right now to write this review. I used one just like this as a school teacher. Only regret is that I did not get the touch screen.
