And the cap fits the old RoundUp perfectly
So I decided to buy this refill bottle due to it's amazing value for money and thankfully I could change beautifully the old cap with the large wand we have inherited from the previous home owner, including her weeds she never bothered to get rid of. Some hard worked money saved there. Churchill would be pleased with me: take care of pennies, pounds will take care of themselves, right? Maybe the previous gallon was old as it did not work much, yes, even chemicals have a warranty, and I am hoping this new gallon to do it's magic. In interim, I also purchased a Hand weeder tool on this site where I do 99% of my shopping, and I removed all the weeds beautifully around our Koi carp pond as I do not want to upset them with un-necessary chemicals. Robins still comb our grounds besides all the other cardinals, golden finches etc coming here for the seeds and nuts we buy for them - so I will probably have to use this solution only before sunset not to upset them either. Love nature and wildlife

Still the Gold Standard in Weed Killer
I've been using Roundup for 20 years for my parents as well as my house. It's been the most consistent reliable chemical for weed killing - I would strongly recommend getting a general pump sprayer as the ones Roundup sells just doesn't have enough pressure especially for bigger weeds. I bought a cheap pump sprayer from Home depot and use it with this refill - It lasts me about a year before I need to get another refill. I have a 7500 Sq lot in SoCal so we do get a lot of weeds and with the rain lately, it's been more heavier than normal. Roundup remains my go to for weedkiller and I would encourage you to use the same if you haven't already!

it does seem to work, eventually
It kills most of what I use it on, eventually. The exception are some volunteer calla lilies that pretty much refuse to die. The leaves and stems turn yellow and shrivel, eventually, but the dang things keep putting up more shoots. They're pretty much impossible to kill unless you water them. Then they die of a root fungus. Hey, I just had an idea :-)

It works!
I've use this product in various percent strengths for at least 50yrs. There are other brands on the market, but this is the best. Don't spray when there is a breeze & you won't kill everything you don't want to kill, including yourself! I have never worn a mask & wash up real good after use. Great product!

This is a Refill Only
This is made to refill the smaller pump version of Round Up. There is no pump assembly with this refill. This container is larger that the pump version and much heavier. It is much easier to use if you refill the old pump container. I'm not sure the pump assembly will fit on the refill contained. Still the same excellent weed and grass killer, no matter if you buy the refill or pump version.

I'd really give a 3.8 star
The product works, but we did have some issue with it. First, the price for the area it covers is horrendous. You're spending $20 and you'll barely get coverage. We have a partially graveled driveway and this container barely covered the space of three cars. We then bought another container to spray on the rock areas around one side of the house and then the rocks around the shed. It was barely enough. It does start killing some things pretty quickly, but you also have to drench them. Even though I drenched them, there are still areas that didn't die. But it does work fairly well. I would say 80% effective. The huge reason. I was really happy with it though is it was killing my Alaska wild roses. There are a horrible thorny bush here that are really invasive and hard to kill. I bought specific killer for them and it didn't work. I tried this stuff and it killed the bushes. So this stuff really does do a good job but it doesn't cover a huge area. I wish it was about somewhere between 10 to $15, cuz I have dropped $40 on this stuff and I still could use another container or two.

Great product to kill grass and weeds.
Roundup will kill any vegetation it comes in contact with. It needs to be used with caution. Avoid spraying on windy days. I use it where grass and weeds grow other than my lawn. Between Belgium block and driveway and any crack in pavers. To kill weeds in grass I use Weed B gon as it will not harm my lawn. This is very effective herbicide. If you already have the sprayer you can buy this refill and use your existing sprayer saving money.
