Anyone know if additional empty trays are available? Can't find any online.

I've returned and found it. I think. Take a look where you place your order. There are two options. The first one is for $10 bucks for one additional tray. The 2nd option is for 3 with all the parts included for about $30. I think I'll order the set, plus another 3 trays.

Is this set stainless or galvanized steel?

The set is made of quality carbon steel, with heat treatment for improved hardness and trivalent (eco-friendly) clear zinc plated for additional corrosion resistance.

Does the hardware come already in each box or do I have to spend time opening dozens of little bags?

comes already in there spots as you see in the picture great item i use it often easy to store

Are the trays labeled

If you cut off or fold away just a small unimportant part from the included paper chart, you could then tape or glue the chart to the underside of the lid, which would be just as good as labels as long as you don't want to change the layout. Personally, I wouldn't, because I want to rearrange. I have lots of similar parts already in inferior containers, and I see no advantage to having wood screws in the same collection as bolts etc. So I would transfer all those wood screws to an inferior container, and add a few more varieties of bolts and washers (including lock washers) and reorganize the whole three box set to make sense for that wider variety of nuts, bolts and washers. So I'm glad they didn't attach any hard to remove labels to the underside of the lid. I will need to relabel anyway. The paper chart is important to know what I started with, but only for that.

Solid value

For the price this is a great set. Gives you a nice variety of hardware to keep around for random needs . Doesn't have a large amount of any 1 item so it's not suited for large projects but is perfect for repairs , hardware replacement etc . The case is sturdy and keeps everything organized

Great Hardware Set

The set was great and had all the necessary pieces for a large kit. However, the paper that showed what each item was did not match the compartment the item was in.

Every Homeowner Needs This!

I LOVE this kit! It has lots of sizes I randomly need, and the hardware is higher quality than others I’ve bought. I haven’t had any issues with the case; it keeps things where they should be and stays closed. Definitely worth it!
