It depends on your battery quality (batteries not included), in general, about 2 hours for high brightness and flash mode and 8 hours for low brightness.

Will it work with two 1.2 Volt rechargeable batteiries?

Ya I think so. Honestly don’t know 🤔. Just the regular good quality AAA work great and last a long time. Better than having to remember to recharge the batteries 🪫
