Does this car light up?

Yes, both headlights and taillights.

Do you need to do something to get front wheels to turn/spin upon unpackaging?

I did not. the plastic was scratched both on the facing blue plastic, as well as under the car. It was used, and used considerably before it was sold to me as "New".

Is it good quality? Does it last after months of use?

Had two years, still working. Sturdy
