I have endometriosis and interstitial cystitis, so I'm constantly having UTI symptoms and have to take OTC tests. This kit is perfect, it comes with 100 test strips and they're accurate and easy to use. This is a must have for anyone who deals with chronic urinary symptoms.

These strips work really well and are a great value for the money. However my only concern is with opening and closing the container over and over moisture from the air will get inside and make results less effective over time. That's why these urinalysis strips are usually individually packaged. There are 100 strips in here which seems like a great idea but it's really not. I have other strips that come 100 at a time and they come in packs of 10 inside the container so that 10 or only open and exposed to the air at a time. I expected these to come the same way but all 100 are open and exposed so the efficacy of these strips is extremely limited. I don't know how long I would trust them. In fact on most of my strips of this type they aren't really good longer than a certain amount of days after the seal is opened simply because they've been exposed to the moisture in the air.I wouldn't be able to trust that the results would be accurate for more than 30 to 45 days after purchase and this isn't an item that you have to use everyday. You only need to use it when you feel like you have a UTI. The packaging reduces the value significantly. If you're going to have to throw them out because they lose efficacy due to being packaged incorrectly then what's the point of having 100?

I need to keep track of all of the different readings that I’m getting and these come in handy. Fairly close to some of results that I’ve got from the lab work. I am concerned that since not individually wrapped these won’t be accurate over a long period of time. Mostly pleased with them.

This is a great way to do a quick check on yourself. The Aydmed strips come with a detailed paper describing what each of the 9 areas tested indicate and what is the normal range. It is easy to use and shows results within 60 seconds. These test strips give more detail than the strips I normally use that only indicate yes, you have an UTI or no, you don't. I recently had a urinalysis done at the lab and these results match closely with those. Fortunately, everything is in the "normal" range. I would recommend these if you have need to check your urine for any of the 9 areas indicated.

These strips can be very useful to have on hand. Unfortunately very important information is written in tiny print on the paper leaflet inside and not written on the bottle label or on the box where most people are going to get their information. And that is 1) first morning urine is best, but mainly 2) that once the foil on the bottle has been opened, these test strips are only guaranteed to remain stable for one month. Then they say stability may be increased to 3-6 months subject to storage conditions. But they don't tell you what those storage conditions need to be. I would assume keep in a dark place and open the bottle sparingly but they don't tell you. I suspect that the oxygen absorber they have placed inside is only rated for 30 days and perhaps that is why it is worded that way. It would've been much better if these 100 strips had been packaged in groups inside the bottle as someone else suggested. Barring that, it is important information that should've been put on the bottle label. The strips are only good to the expiration date IF the bottle remains unopened.

It doesn't get any simpler in terms of using the product. Find a collection cup to put the sample in and dip the test strip into it. Results are available in 60 seconds. The pamphlet reviews each reagent the test tests for. It would be easier if it had a larger table with the normal colors and ranges as opposed to the tiny chart on the back of the bottle.Overall it is a nice and convenient way to test at home for a UTI - though it would be even simpler if it just tested for bacteria like the doctor's test does.

I got this pack of UTI test strips mainly for peace of mind and occasional checks, but I didn’t realize all 100 strips come in one single container. Once I opened it, the instructions say the strips are only good for 30 days, which feels kind of wasteful since I definitely won’t go through 100 in that timeframe for personal use.The test itself seems fine and covers a lot of parameters: leukocytes, nitrite, pH, etc. It's easy enough to read, though I recommend snapping a pic right away since some results fade or change quickly. Just wish it came in smaller sealed packs or had a longer shelf life once opened. Good value in bulk, but not the most practical setup for casual use.
