McCormick Cocktail Sauce for Seafood, 8 fl oz

Love this cocktail sauce. Great flavor!!

Bought a cheaper brand but it tasted just like ketchup so I went back to ordering this brand. Always good.

McCormick Golden Dipt Cocktail Sauce for Seafood is officially my new favorite cocktail sauce. It is nice and thick and the perfect blend of tomato paste, horseradish, vinegar, red pepper, onion, and garlic. At only 80 calories for a whole quarter cup, I don't have to hold back as much as I have to with other higher-calorie brands. (It is high in sodium - 40% per serving, but I never use a whole serving) The sugar is high, too (26%), but it does not have fat or cholesterol, so that's good. This sauce is one of my favorite splurges and a good value for the size of the bottle. It tastes great and arrived fresh (5 months from its expiration date, another plus)

Good cocktail sauce, what more needs 2 B said.

Can you make your own? Sure. Is this more convenient? Absolutely. Good price too.

This cocktail sauce reminds me of the “Shrimp Sauce” that you could get at Bob’s Big Boy to go with their fries instead of catsup. It is slightly sweet and fine the way it is. I like it with a little more zip so I put some in a small dip cup and give it a couple of dashes of Tabasco sauce. If I want more of a kick it gets a bit of Beaver Brand horseradish (easy this is REALLY HOT). Good with fries, peel n eat shrimp and other seafood. If you like your cocktail sauce over-the-top with heat, you might like to try this brand’s sauce that says extra hot on the label.

I love the flavor of this sauce and buy it often. However, now that Amazon has raised the price of one jar of it from $1.99 to $7.03 in less than two weeks...I won't be buying it again from here. UPDATE Amazon has lowered the price back down to $1.99, so I will again buy this.
