I am in total awe of these two product, so much so that I had to write a review. After realizing how much plastic waste I am generating I’ve been on a quest to use as many personal and cleaning products with earth friendly packaging as possible. I always look for clean ingredients too, so I researched shampoo and conditioner bars forever and decide to take a chance on these two products. I have short, thick, somewhat coarse gray hair that is always frizzed up in the morning on the back of my head and craves moisture and oil. I did not expect much, especially because of my hair type that always needs argan oil or other hair conditioners to behave. This set has completely changed my hair in just a few uses! It feels cleaner, softer, more manageable and shinier than it’s ever been. I don’t wake up with a big rooster tail on the back of my head anymore, and it just lays better. Even my use of pomade has been reduced since it looks so much better. It foams up very nicely and is so easy to use in the shower. They are lightly scented, not at all overpowering or artificial smelling. I still have a couple plastic bottles of shampoo and conditioner sitting in my shower, and next to my body, shampoo and conditioner bars all lined up on a slotted wooden tray, they look like old dinosaurs. They give off such a beautiful spa vibe. I’m so happy I decided on this brand and am going to try their deodorant next!

This stuff got me hooked on shampoo/conditioner bars! I took a month long internship in Hawaii, and these bars, mixed with the soft water and environment of the island gave me beautiful beach curls on my hair that’s almost always frizzy. I’ve genuinely never felt more beautiful in my life. They small, compact, easy to travel with, and the coconut smelled amazing. I tried Earthling Co.’s version of the coconut, and hated the smell, so I retuned it. I got this, and fell in love. Every time I smell the shampoo, it takes me back to Hawaii. The conditioner smells amazing too, but is not coconut. It’s more citrusy-sweet. They compliment each other well. Even though they seem a little more expensive side, I’ve rebought them twice!

I’ve never been a bar soap kinda girl—but in the quest for a better travel routine, I figured shampoo and conditioner bars were a good place to start. I grabbed the Frizz Wrangler and Too Delicious bars (because hi, wavy and frizz-prone over here), and I’ve gotta say—they're pretty fabulous! The shampoo bar leaves my hair feeling great, but using both bars in the summer felt a tad heavy. I’m saving the conditioner for fall when my hair’s thirstier. Overall? A solid win and definitely a new travel fave in the making!

This was my first time using a shampoo and conditioner bar and this brand is terrible. The conditioner doesn't go on the hair nicely at all and I didn't even feel like I had conditioner on my hair. They also left my hair feeling like it was coated in wax. It was very hard to brush and style. I finished these bars and switched to Kitsch and it's night and day difference! I wouldn't recommend ethinque to anyone.

I really like using the bar soap. I love how it does not have a lot of waste. It cleans and conditions my hair nicely. It’s also a great price for the amount of product you get.
