I bought this chair in 2022 and have absolutely loved it. It has been super comfortable, durable, and is high quality for a reasonable price. The back support has been great (I tend to have lower back issues), and the neck support is an added bonus. I especially want to call out the customer support as well. I reached out a week ago (4 years after the purchase) as the gas lift has started to sink while sitting in the chair. Mind you, I use this chair heavily on a daily basis. The customer support has ben fantastic. Even though the chair is now out of warranty, the support team have been prompt and attentive, offering potential solutions - going as far as providing videos on how to remove the worn part. When I was unable to remove the part myself, they arranged replacement parts to be shipped to me directly - again noting that the chair is out of warranty and they aren't required to do so. Thanks so much for the stellar support, I really appreciate it and would buy this chair again 100%.

I've been using the SIHOO Office Desk Chair for nearly 4 months now, and I wanted to share my thoughts on this product. In the past, I had always owned executive chairs, which were comfortable but lacked adequate support. This wasn't a problem before, but over the last year, I started experiencing discomfort in my lower back and hips after sitting for extended periods of time. It seems like age is catching up with me! My previous chair was falling apart - the faux leather was peeling off and making its way around the house, and there was no padding left in the seat. Within an hour of sitting, I would noticeably sink 8 inches lower than when I started. So, it was definitely time for a new office chair that could provide better support. I spend a significant amount of time at my desk each day, so finding the right chair was a priority for me. As someone who is over 6 feet tall and overweight, I knew I needed to do thorough research before making a purchase. After reading the reviews for this chair, which were generally positive despite a few minor issues and complaints about size, I decided to take the plunge. It seemed that any concerns raised in those negative reviews had been addressed with refunds. The chair arrived well-packaged and was quite heavy. I unpacked it at the bottom of my stairs and carried each part individually to my office. The assembly process was straightforward, and all parts were included - a good sign right from the start. While an Allen key was provided, I opted to use my own tools for final tightening, just to ensure everything was secure. Attaching the wheels required a bit of careful handling, but it wasn't any more challenging than other chairs I've put together in the past. All bolt holes lined up perfectly, eliminating any need for excessive force or adjustments. The online assembly video provided by the manufacturer proved to be incredibly helpful and comforting throughout the process. Once assembled I could see the quality was very good. I had read some other reviews that said otherwise but I can't see why. I have always spent up to £200 on chairs and this is of superior quality to anything else I have owned. I suppose if you are used to £2000 chairs then this might fall a little short. The wheels glide quietly, and there is very little movement side to side, even after 4 months (remember I am over 6 feet tall and overweight). Ergonomically this chair is fantastic. At just over 6 feet tall I did find this chair a little shorter than I was used to but I did some research and took some measurements and discovered it was actually the correct height for me and I soon got used to the new position. I think all those executive chairs I have lounged around in previously had skewed my expectations. The lumbar support, again something I had not experienced before, took some adjustment to find the correct and comfortable height but once I found the sweet spot and remembered to not slouch into it, the benefit is obvious. The headrest is fine for my height but it is fully extended. The arms adjust easily and they are nicely scalloped so my arms nestle in them which is nice. The recline feature is not something I use as I mainly have the chair locked into a correct seating position but on the odd occasion I have released it I felt comfortable and secure thanks to the large wheelbase. I have also found the mesh is brilliant on hot days, far superior to real or faux leather. To sum up, I have used this chair for on average 8 hours a day for 4 months, I am tall and heavy but the chair shows no sign of deterioration at all. My back and hip issue has all but gone and I am confident that any aches and pains I do suffer from now are not chair related. I do very much wish I had ordered one of these style chairs many years ago!

You've all seen pictorial instructions before, apparently drawn by a three year old, where the dimensions and shapes of the items don't remotely correspond to what you have received, and to make matters worse you've got a fourth generation photocopy, and fewer nuts and bolts than the instructions describe. I've never given a good review for instructions ..until now. I'd put off the assembly for a few days such was my dread of what was to follow, and being 'fined' by my wife for multiple expletives. But this was totally different! A clear set of instructions combining pictures with occasional helpful pointers in English, in a good quality booklet. The whole thing took 15 minutes with a further 5 for tweaking the position of the arm rests, heights and so on. The only point where I got stuck was with the word 'shim', though it was pretty obvious by process of elimination that this word meant 'washer'. I'd never heard that term before! Anyway, it would be picky to dwell on that point. 5 stars for assembly! Just amazing, totally unexpected. I'm now adding to the original review above to give my verdict on the chair after a couple of weeks' use. I find the chair very comfortable overall but it has minor faults. I was a bit worried about the lumbar support, a few people have complained about that, but I see no issue there at all. Height adjustment of chair and arm rests are independent, which is perfect. The range of movement of the back is very limited and to my mind the angle is not quite steep enough at the highest setting. In fact, I am struggling to discern any difference regardless of how much I turn the knob on the back. A slightly more upright position is needed, but it's okay. The one real dislike I have concerns the arm rests. You really want to have rotation about the axis of the rest. Your arm sits in a groove in the armrest, with a raised lip to the left and right. This is perfect if you want to tap endlessly the letter Q and the plus sign on the numeric section of the keyboard, but realistically the vast majority of your key presses are going to be more central, with your arms at an angle of 20-45 degrees relative to the arm rest. This means your forearm is pressing on the raised lip on the inner edge of the rest. If the lip were just on the outside edge it would be fine. Or if you could rotate the arm rests to be pointing slightly inwards. However, the chair overall is very good, and would be perfect with a bit more thought about the design of the arm rests and the most likely positions of the users' arms when typing.

I only make an effort to write a review when I think it’s truly required—and in this case, it definitely is. This chair is absolutely worth it. I do have one small critique, but honestly, for the price, it’s barely worth mentioning. Still, for complete transparency, I’ll include it. 1. Assembly This chair is the easiest thing I’ve ever built in my entire life. Not only do they include clear instructions, but they also provide a YouTube video to walk you through it. If you follow that, you’ll have it done in no time. On top of that, they include the tool for the screws—and it’s not some cheap little L-key. It’s actually a solid, well-made tool that makes the whole process easier. I’ve built chairs before that required all kinds of jiu-jitsu tricks just to align the parts, but this one came together perfectly. 2. Quality of Materials The materials are genuinely high quality. They invested in the areas that matter—seat, back support, legs, the whole structure. Nothing feels cheap or rushed. 3. Adjustability I’ve seen some complaints online, but honestly, this chair adjusts exactly the way you want it to. It leans back, goes up and down—everything you’d expect. If someone can’t figure out how to operate it, that’s more of a user problem than a chair problem. 4. Design It’s just beautiful. As we get older, we don’t want to be full-grown adults sitting in racing-style or overly “gamer” chairs. We want something more mature and classy, and this chair nails that aesthetic. 5. Wheels The wheels are perfectly fine. They’re standard office chair wheels—they move when you push them, exactly as they should. I don’t know what some people are doing, trying to race around their house or perform NASCAR maneuvers, but calling these wheels “low quality” is wild. They work exactly as intended. 6. Comfort The comfort level is perfect. It has great lumbar support, and the mesh material keeps you cool instead of heating you up. If you have bad posture, this chair will genuinely help improve it. Trust me—your back will appreciate it. Finally, the critique The armrests go up and down, but they don’t swivel. This is the one area where they trimmed the quality a bit—but for the price, it’s completely acceptable. The arms aren’t bad at all; they’re just not multi-directional. If you want fully adjustable 4D armrests, you’ll need to look elsewhere. But for what you pay, this chair is basically perfect. I just wanted to put everyone at ease, because I know how overwhelming it is trying to find a good chair in this endless sea of options. This one genuinely deserved a review, especially for one small detail: For absolutely no reason… they included gloves. I’ve never seen that before, but it shows they care. Honestly, this is a phenomenal company—you can tell they took their time making sure the engineering on this chair was done right.

Very pleased with finished chair - no complaints from a user point of view. Fittings (small) all on blister pack card - even included spare screws etc. comprehensive assembly diagrams - if a bit small to read. The supplied Allen key had a very comfortable handle that was used on ALL bolts. A first !! Came complete with a pair of white fabric inspection type gloves. Whats not to like? Downside: - arrived a week later than originally scheduled.

This chair is perfect at the price point. It has a full range of adjustable settings to provide the right sitting position with lumber and height adjustments. Its mesh backing means no sweaty back in warm temperatures. I use this chair approximately eight hours a day when working from home with no strains on arms or back. I cannot fault it.

I have had this chair for over 4 years now. It is still strong and working. It has provided ultimate comfort this whole time (4 years) - over long gaming sessions and 8 hour Work-From-Home sessions. Back support is great, head support is great, and it does not squeak/make high pitch noises when turning. Over the last 4 years, one issue I have had, is that the arm rest cusions have been falling apart and I find sponge on my floors every so often. The second issue, is that the bolts come lose and the chair makes an annoying sound until you screw them fully back in again. Overall, quality chair that has outlasted any other chair I have had. P.S. The price is still the same as I bought it last (current price = £170 (British pounds) or $240 (American dollars).

I spent months reviewing home office chairs and finally settled on this one after reading some excellent online reviews. However my reality was very different from the reviews. Firstly the chair came well packaged and looked like it was a good quality purchase. The chair does take a little time to assemble but it’s not too onerous but it’s big and heavy so taking upstairs was not easy and I’m quite big and strong. Secondly and this is where it all went wrong 😑 the chair height on the gas lift was ridiculously low! Being 6’2 and it felt like I was sitting on the floor. Therefore I checked the height of the chair see pictures and the maximum gas lift height was only just 18 inches and not the recommended 21.3 inches on the website. I contacted their customer services online through email and although they were responsive their initial response was that’s it’s a new type of gas lift mechanism and as such I was directed to purchase one with an increased height.! When I replied that the gas lift was not as per their product specifications they did respond saying that I could return the chair and receive a full refund or replacement. In fairness to the customer service team they did offer me a private discount code to order their top of the range V1 product but I decided to order a Herman Miller chair and boy what a chair that is.! Other issues as per some reviews is if you are tall over 6 foot then the head rest is useless. The back of the chair dug into the top of my back and was very uncomfortable 🥴 The mechanism to adjust the tilt was very cumbersome but I did get used to it after trying several times. In all honesty this chair for the price if the gas life was working as per the product specifications is OK. However after just spending double the amount and purchasing a quality replacement that is night and day in terms of comfort and quality I cannot personally recommend this product.
