Very happy with it good and strong

I use this spade regularly and have to say I'm very impressed. It folds up into a light, easily carried package with a convenient case that can easily be clipped to a belt, for the weight of it you might be fooled into thinking it might not be tough enough for sturdy jobs but I use it for metal detecting in a very stoney area and the worst it's suffered is slight chipping and wear on the paintwork. It doesn't bend or buckle (as long as you make sure it's set up properly before using, which is very straightforward) and you can give it a good shove with your boot, into the ground, and the worst it will do is just go no further due to rocks in the way, which it can also easily move as it levers really well. It has a saw edge which is great for hacking through roots and matted ground, I can't recommend this enough!

halfway between a trowel and a full spade I have been amazed at how much I use it. Strong and light. The only complaint is the mechanism to hold the handle in place comes slight loose after a time. This does not stop one using it, just mildly irritating. I am updating this review because after one year of intermittent use the metal plate joining the handle to the spade started to bend. Meanwhile I managed to purchase from a second hand military store a genuine second hand entrenchment tool from the British Army and one from Ukrainian military. Both significantly stronger and as second hand were cheaper. So this product ok for normal gardening but for the heavy stuff go for the genuine article.

Schnelle Lieferung. Erster eindruck..sieht stabil aus,liegt 1a in der hand. Mit der Kunststofftasche gut am Koppel zu befestigen. Macht was er soll..Erde bewegen...kleiner tipp...etwas Balistol für die Gelenke verhindert sperrigkeit...vor dem verstauen im zusammengeklappten zustand,die Feststellung anziehen. Dann klappert es nicht wenn man sich bewegt. Alles in allem...Gutes Teil...(besser zu tragen als mein alter Feldspaten mit Lederfutteral und langem Holzstiel.
