Let me tell you the ticks was not ticking after this stuff mkay My in-laws live off grid, literally. So I prepared myself and thy children for a grand-adventure dilly dallying through the mountains of Tennessee and this repellent made us deplorable to any tick who got a whiff of us.

I got home with no ticks

This is the third or fourth time I purchased this. I have always been satisfied with this product because it is effective and smells nice and I can't say that about most of the insect repellents that I have used over the years. My skin does strange things when it gets bit by bugs, or stung. One bee sting on my shin or calf causes my leg to turn red and swell all the way from above my knee to the tips of my toes, and walking becomes a challenge. Mosquitos cause a thickness of hard skin that usually expands to a circle above 3 - 4 inches across. Wasps cause my skin to turn black and leaves a deep crater around where the bite was. Needless to say, I need to use a good repellent when I go outside, and the chickens don't feed themselves so I have to get outside once in a while. This bottle arrived with roughly 75% - 80% of the regular amount of repellent missing, compared to the other ones that I have purchased. I couldn't send the bottle back because I needed to use it and I was completely out of repellent. It takes 2 days to get here, and it takes me a few days to get the product to a location to send it from. I live far from town and I don't drive. That is why I shop with Amazon. If shopping was convenient, or at least not an extreme adventure in logistics, I would never shop online. Therefore, I don't return items that are not satisfactory because it is time and cost prohibitive. I will order another one in a few weeks. This bottle has enough in it to last till the next order gets here. If the next one is three quarters or more empty, I will be looking for another store to shop. That's really inconvenient, but I can't mess around with my health and what biting bugs can do to it.
