LED NEON Light, AC 110-120V Flexible LED Neon Strip Lights, 120 LEDs/M, Dimmable, Waterproof 2835 SMD LED Rope Light + Remote Controller for Party Decoration (98.4ft/30m, Warm White)

Our pool was built in the late 90s. It had fiber optic lights around the perimeter. They required very expensive, hard to find bulbs for replacement, a fire hydrant sized console for the bulb, fan and rotating glass wheel to change colors and it had to pretty much be dark to see the lights. We ripped the fiber optic cable out and replaced it with this strip of lights that is the first 110v led lights in one strip long enough to go around the pool that I have seen. We used white bathroom caulk to secure the strand in the groove for the old fiber optic cable. These lights are MUCH brighter. They are visible in direct mid day sun though not bright. But if it is shady or dusk they are bright (the video is at dusk and doesn't really do them justice honestly) and at night they are VERY bright. I like the more continuous neon look of them although there is a small break in the light every foot (so that you can safely cut it too length). The only negative I would say is that the remote could have more functions like letting you program your own sequence of colors, but it is a minor issue. Not sure I would have taken the time to do that anyway. Of course, the longer strands aren't cheap and the big question is how will the system stand up to being outdoors long term. We have a powered pool cover so the control box is hid from rain and direct sun down with the pulley mechanisms. But it will still see some pretty big temperature variation and condensation. The strand itself I don't have doubts about, just the control box. I will update you about longevity (2 months of summer, no issues). If the seller reads this, please be sure to make replacement control boxes for sale at a reasonable price if you want to get decent reviews because if mine goes out and I either can't get one or you overcharge for it, your rating will plummet.

90 days out of warranty the power control went out, it took 5 hrs to install lights wish I could get new power box. amazing company they read my review and contacted me then 2 days later my new power box came in. 100% all back up and running will buy some more soon. This set was installed in a dental office up in the crown moding out of sight but the Blue light is the exact feel/Look our client wanted 5 stars!

The brightness and colors are great but every time you hit a color option on the remote, it's not the color you click on. When you stop or play a movie on your TV, the neon light strip changes or colors which is weird. This started happening about 2 weeks after I bought these, and I am not the only person that had complained about this issue. The red color option no longer works as well as other colors on the remote so I now have a limited option to choose from. I didn't ask for a refund because the quality of the rope looks sturdy and it really lights up a room.

There are quite a few things I like about this light set....first, it's flexibility. I was able to contort it to make the pictured art project that has 14 feet of the light twisted around behind it. Second, I like how weather proof the construction seems to be as the lights are sealed in a silicone? shield that does subdue the lighting a bit but they are still bright enough. And third, the remote works well. I can stand 20 feet away with the controller 9 feet off the ground and it still picks up the signal. The light strip comes with the controller attached to the light string via a sealed plug-in for weather resistance. If I could change one thing, it would be to allow for easy disconnection and reconnection of the controller as I did have some trouble with that. I needed the connection to go through a wall and I didn't separate the controller from the light strip properly the first time around. I ended up frying the controller and contacted IEKOV who went above and beyond in helping to fix the issue. I would highly recommend this light strip and IEKOV!

I used this to line my stand up arcade cabinet and it blew me away. Great quality, flexible, easy to use. SO BRIGHT! The setting in my picture is low and but its really bright on low. I did note that the higher the brightness, the more the color washed out, but you can adjust brightness/color to your taste. The only inconvenience is the odor from this product. Its not terribly strong, but you do notice it. I'm certain it will air out eventually. I highly recommend this product. I will buy again for next project.

You can read about other stuff like the remote in other reviews but I'm going to tell you the most important things to keep in mind, everything else is nit picking. 1: these are the best smooth color "tube" look you're going find for a reasonable price. (meaning not hundreds) 2: getting these to stay wherever you want them is a nightmare. You will and should spend a lot of time rigging securely in your own way, so you don't have to do it over and over. Their brackets and adhesive suck. 3: I've bought these twice now, the last set was exactly 6 months ago...look at how 90 degree bends mess up the light over time. This is not a function people....you do not get to change the color by sections, it's malfunctioning...they do not have longevity, so paying more for the right product first may be something you need to think about.

First off, it says in the instructions that you can cut it but what it doesn't tell you is that the piece that you had cut off is useless now. After that, I had my 5m-long strip all setup and ready to go. The first time I turned it on it was a disappointment already, I could easily see the individual led lights inside of the diffuser. It didn't look bad from afar, yet. Now, I never used them for more than a 4-hour long session and I had been using them for the last 2 weeks (somedays I didn't turn them on). So all in all, I used them for around 50 hours. Additionally, I always used one color only, orange, but in the last 4 days it has been getting worse everyday I turn them on. As you can see in the pictures attached to this review, some parts just turn off in certain colors and in some others, they're either at a lower instensity of the color set, which you can't change by any means or another random color that aside from looking wrong, kilos the vibe. I regret each and every peny I spent on this stupid strip and I hope you don't buy this. If you're reading this, it means that you are questioning yourself whether to buy these or not, please don't. In my case, I'm going to buy a one-color neon strip lights because they're more likely to last longer from what I've seen. In conclusion, what I learned from this is to read the reviews first, which is what you're doing right now so great and most of rgb strp lights (at least the ones in the 30-80 dollars range) fail all the time, so don't buy these lights and have a nice day.

These lights exceeded our expectations 10-fold. We bought them because they are waterproof because we use them in an Inflatable foam pit. They are easy to set up, they twist and get kinked like a hose, so you have to to twist the roll a little during setup. They remote and rf device could be better, you need to be RIGHT NEAR the device to change the settings. I wouldn't recommend the strobe setting, it is a strong flash and hard to see but it is only because they are so amazing. The remote is hard to read in the daylight because it it black text on gray buttons...so learn your remote before you use it and have a small flash light. It is also weirdly shaped so it slipped out of my hand several times because the edges are all smooth and curved. Overall, totally amazing lights for what we use them for; I think a 4.5/5 is my actual rating because of things mentioned, but not enough of a bother to drop it to a 4. Not sure how they would hold up long term in the elements but they work great for a few hours in a wet environment. Totally unbiased, non-solicited review from an actual user.

These lights are so bright so amazing easy to wrap or zip tie or install however on anything so awesome with all the many different things with remote controls sealed 100 percent no water getting into them just so amazing I’m crazy about lights have all kinds and these are the best!!! I also put under my trailer will be posting another video underneath I recommend these lights I got 98ft wrapped two times around pool with zip ties real easy looks so sharp everyone asks where you get your lights you’ll be the talk of your town

Very bendable and very bright. It comes with and IR remote that allows you to dim the brightness in 10% increments. Very good quality, I was very surprised. It comes with the clips to attach it to whatever you want. HOWEVER, if you’re going to bend it, you will require more clips then what comes with it (This was my case anyways). For my application, I was able to use superglue and it held with no issues. On the back side of the led strip, there are markings to show you where to cut, if you plan on cutting it. Do yourself a favor and follow those lines. If you don’t, you’ll kill a chunk of otherwise usable led strip. What else can I tell you?…I haven’t gone swimming with mine, so I can’t verify if it’s waterproof…but it sure seems like it would be. 10/10 I would by this product again if I ever find myself needing it for a project or whatever. I purchased this product and got a professional to install the light. First while was great, I loved the colors and the fact that you change to modes of the lights. Just recently the lights caught on fire, I thought perhaps the end was faulty and called a professional in to trim the lights back where they recommended it to be trimmed. I also put the lights on a timer to avoid the workers forgetting to turn them off. I came in today and realized that it didn't help, they caught fire for the second time.
