Brass Round Bottle P-Trap with Pop Up Drain Stopper,1 1/4 Adjustable Basin Sink Waste Drain Trap Kit without Overflow, Chrome P Trap

I purchased this to install while renovating an entire home. I plan on using it in the public-use bathroom near the kitchen under an exposed sink where I did not want to splurge on more expensive versions of this sort of exposed P-trap. I have not fully permanently installed it but gave it a test fit and was pleased. Overall, it seemed to sit and seal fine with my planned sink and the wall pipes. It took a little finagling to get the pipe to sit well into the wall pipe, but once in, the gasket seemed to work as needed. Be aware that the drain is a pop-up only type. There is no way to connect it to a lever on a faucet. I am considering testing if I can sub out the drain part of the assembly with the drain included with my faucet; I am not sure yet if the threads match. Overall though, it will work. My only ding against the assembly is that while it does feel metal, it also feels light and thinner. It feels as light as the cheap plasticky P-trap that you can buy from a big box plumbing store that is fake chromed. Of course, visually, it is steps above that type of P-trap.

Really nice solid and hygenic brass drain. It is adjustable and fit my vessel sink drain hole perfectly. This drain is of a remarkable quality. It was an easy install following great instructions and included all necessary components. It includes a pop up valve. It also utilizes a P trap which gives nice, clean, minimalist lines for a sink with simple cabinetry that doesn’t attempt to hide the drain. Very attractive brushed nickle finish. The entire sink, drain, faucets add a level of sophistication to my bathroom that I am quite happy with.
