Hard to describe the texture in terms of other familiar things but it's tasty and very original
This stuff is definitely addictive and I had originally bought this brand when in a middle eastern food store. I had bought it on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. I had heard of Turkish delight but I didn't know what it was. Well, to my surprise it is a smooth and jelly-like candy, but even that description doesn't do it justice. There are nice flavors, of which some are quite unknown in the western palate -- i.e. the floral one's such as rose, but they very good if you are open to them. (Rose is a big flavor in the middle east and india.) Otherwise there are lemon and pistachio flavors and some of the pieces have actual pieces of pistachios or other nuts like almonds and these add a nice texture. Others are smooth without a tree nut. I think they often serve these with strong turkish coffee or afternoon tea.

Delicious! Wish there was a flavor chart.
These are actually pretty good! I bought these to try Turkish Delight for the first time, and I have to say, I'm not disappointed. The flavors are hazelnut, mint, rose, peanut, and I thiiiiink lemon? I can't tell. A lot of them taste like rose because the rose one is a very strong flavor. I feel like it would've been nice if they included a chart with the flavors on it or something, BUT, nevertheless, they're all pretty tasty. The only other real problems I have are that the box's imagery isn't very accurate to the candy inside. It's literally caked in sugar. LOTS of sugar. And the package was difficult to open, so I ended up ripping it a little. Other than that, the candy itself is delicious and I'm very satisfied with it. :D It's like gummy cubes. They're really good!

Sweet and tasty.
I was surprised by a strong taste of rose but it grew on me. For most Americans, it's a taste they probably won't care for but I got used to it. That said, not everything in this assortment is rose flavored. The pistachios were fresh and tasty and I particularly liked the spearmint. It's a good assortment of flavors and I'm enjoying working my way through the box. If you've never had Turkish Delight, this is a great sampler. The texture is much firmer than jelly but not as firm as gummy bears.

Nice Enough but Squished Together
Bought these because I was curious about finally knowing what Edmund was so excited about in The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. They've got a nice flavor (I should have taken the picture before I ate one) but be aware that they are very floral tasting. I like that but I'm certain that won't be everyone's cup of tea. I was most disappointed with the way they all sort of squished together in the box (the excess powdered sugar should mean I can still pull them apart easy enough but not a nice presentation). I was also hoping they'd be a bit softer as I've heard that's the texture they're supposed to have but it's also been quite cold recently so that may be part of it. They were worth trying once for sure. I don't know if I would buy them again though.

Just buy jelly beans
I was very excited to receive my order as I love Turkish Delight. Unfortunately this was not what I expected at all. The sweetness was extremely overpowering and made it difficult to even finish a piece. I expected a nice soft chewy texture but unfortunately it was something more akin to gum. It was extremely chewy in a bad way. There were little to no nuts in them as well! There is no key to determine which flavors are where. I had my SO try some as well and they came to the same conclusion- Overpowering taste, hard to chew, and hard to finish. Overall I was really disappointed in the quality of this. I was expecting a soft, sweet, delicious Turkish Delight but instead got what tasted like tough, powdered sugar-coated jellybeans.

I love it
They tasted excellent! My only complaint is they try to cheat you out of more product for the size of the box. For example, for those who have never bought Turkish delight before, there are 2 parts to the box, the cover and the inner piece that slides in and holds the Turkish delights. What the manufacturers usually do is they make this inner piece smaller than it actually is by making the "walls" of the inner piece thicker by about 1 inch on all sides. They also fill it with tons of powdered sugar to decrease the amount of Turkish delights placed in the box. I've been to Turkey and they did it there as well. I would repurchase only if I couldn't find it in store where I live which I haven't been able to. If you can get Turkish delight, try to buy it loose, where it's not in a box but rather you can put it in a baggie.

tastes like something light and magical
If you've ever read things like Scherezade's 1001 tales, or other romantic and adventurous stories involving deserts, camels, sheiks and Arab hospitality, you've probably read about delicacies with rosewater. The very first piece I picked up was a rosewater slice. What a luscious delight! Each piece was better than the first. They are all covered with powdered sugar, which adds to the floating feeling - sort of like very good beignets. I was prompted to order these because we were watching the youngest boy in the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe demanding them from the White Witch, gobbling them up and demanding more. My husband had never tasted turkish delight. And it has probably been decades since I had. So...I got them for him - and introduced him to something entirely new. He loved it!

Not Just For Edmund Anymore
To those who've read the books or watched the movies about Narnia, Turkish Delight does exist. Not only that, but it is truly delicious. Quite some time back, my family and I lived in Turkey. While there, we happened upon a store that made fresh Turkish Delight. After sampling some, we were hooked. Well, recently, my family and I had talked about how we missed eating Turkish Delight. With Mother's Day coming up, I was searching for something unique to get for my wife. After stumbling upon this product, and recognizing the brand, I ordered two pounds of it. On Mother's Day, my wife opened the box and passed it around. The flavors were spot on, just like we remembered them to be. Ultimately, if you've had it before, it will bring back memories. If you have not, then you will be delighted. Either way, you will not be disappointed.

It's ok
It was different it has a jelly a bit chewy consistency and a aromatic taste. Some of them had almonds that added a crunchy texture. I tried once and prob wont be ordering it again.

Stale?
I received this item on Oct 26th. The box said best before 11 2017. The turkish delight itself was a bit chewier than usual... likely due to the 'best before' date. There was no 'packaged on' date on the box. I would not repurchase this item.

No much of a mix
Very nice candy, but only about two or three pieces out of the whole box had nuts - so package image is not a true reflection of the contents. Disappointing.
