NOT ADJUSTABLE - BE WARNED
This machine is not effective. I was very unhappy with this. Big waste of time. The directions dont say celcius or Fahrenheit . You cannot adjust the time or the temperature - i don't care what the is says - its not possible,. You can only change the function and you are stuck with whatever hour and time it has for that function

Shockingly good yogurt!
When I say this makes the best yogurt I’ve ever eaten, this isn’t an understatement. It really is the best yogurt I’ve ever eaten. I used to make yogurt every now and then using a slow cooker/crock pot. However, after I kashered my kitchen, I didn’t want to get a separate dairy crockpot just for making yogurt every now and then. After not having yogurt in the house when I wanted it, spending more than I wanted on it, or letting it go bad in the fridge because I didn’t use it too many times, I decided to invest in a gadget that just serves one purpose (to me). This was significantly marked down when I got it so I thought it couldn’t hurt.I used store bought, cholav yisroel, whole milk Greek yogurt as a starter. The inner chamber holds 1 quart of milk. It was easy to use and came out perfect after fermenting for 8 hours (although you can add more hours if you like more of a tang). After straining twice through cheesecloth (I like a very thick yogurt but you do you), the result was pretty mind blowing. I don’t think I’ll be able to have store bought yogurt again. I used the leftover whey for the second batch and the result was equally delicious. My only complaint is that it doesn’t make enough at once. But I feel like this little guy is just a victim of its own success with that statement. It’s just that good! I will be the first to admit the instructions were perhaps written by someone whose first language is not English. That being said, I still found them easy to follow. It’s basically pour in your milk and starter, set it, and forget it. Much easier than making yogurt on the stove top or crock pot.

Would not work for me
This item would not work for me. The machine kept turning off. When I removed the yogurt slurry to refrigerate while I troubleshooted the issue, I noticed the metal bowl left marks in the yogurt maker. Poor quality. Do not recommend. I returned mine.

Yogurt Maker Great; included dish is not
I have used the yogurt maker once for a36 hour yogurt fermentation. It worked great. What was not great was the metal container which is included. I should have taken a photo but something wore off of the dish and left metal looking marks on the yogurt maker. Today, I found a shard of something in my yogurt. I am meticulous about cleanliness when I am fermenting foods. I am keeping the yogurt maker but warn others not to use the included metal dish. It is not something you want in your fermented foods.

Can't Speak To Yogurt Outcome
As other reviews have mentioned, the instructions for this item are confusing to the point that I haven't made the effort to use it yet and I don't know that I'll make that effort anytime soon. I've come to accept that on foreign made products there can be a bit of a language gap in the instructions, but when it's to the point that the item seems to be more work than it's worth, that is a problem.

Worked, takes a long time to make. Instructions good be better.
It works, but the instructions are not very clear! In one diagram it shows using baking powder but it's supposed to be starter powder or culture. Where it says in the instructions that the indicator light will be on but not flashing, it is talking about the temperature and timer light, the two dots in the center will still be blinking on and off. I made it with 100ml of yogurt that had active and live cultures and 900ml of organic milk. Some warm water below the container inside the unit and the temperature at 45 for 9hrs. It came out really well. The only thing I should have done was to pour the excess liquid out when it was done instead of trying to remix it. Maybe if I left it for another hour, not sure, it's the first time making yogurt but I think it came out tasting good. I gave it a four instead of five star because of the instructions being so confusing.

Doesn’t heat up or work how it’s supposed to. Fried after not even a month. Cheap is an understatement

Instructions don't relate to the machine and the time is not adjustable.
