I have a set of iPhone ear buds with a lightening connector for my iPhone 11. I recently traded in my iPhone 11 for an iPhone 16e, which has a USB-C port for ear buds. This adapter works well for connecting my lightening port ear buds to the iPhone 16e.

Works great on my iPad Mini A17
This USB C to 3.5mm audio plug adapter has been working great so far in my iPad Mini A17. I'm still using the old style 3.5mm audio earbuds so this adapter was just what I needed for my new iPad. The audio sounds as crisp and clear and it does when I plug my headphones into any other 3.5mm audio jack.

Headphone adapter
Just what I needed to use my wired headphones.

Sound is bad, moves from left to right and back.
I bought this adapter to use my Lightning connector headphones with my iPhone 16. The audio balance shifts continuously from center to left, back to center, then to right. This happens across multiple apps, including Music, YouTube, and two audiobook apps. No iPhone settings resolved the issue. The headphones work perfectly with Lightning devices, so the adapter seems to be the problem. I plan to return it.

Works as advertised
Does what its intended to do quite well. I assume it originates in China, and like most of the cheap tech imported from there the accompanying instructions, if you need them, are sparse and printed in font thatโs often difficult to read.
