I recently purchased this android box to upgrade my old Android box. For the price of this box it is simply outstanding. It comes with the standard, but better than usual quality and design with remote. It might be worth getting a Bluetooth mini keyboard to make it easier to type and move around apps. Super easy to set up and operate. It is just like having a computer built into your TV. The quality of the picture (4k) is simply great with great clear text and graphics. The speed is really impressive with fast response navigation and app opening.It comes pretty much as a clean install with not much on it so you can choose to download apps that suit you.I love the freedom of adding on apps from the play store, from SD card or from downloading. So much freedom with this device, not like some that have their own graphics environment that only give limited access to the apps available, this box is full android 8.1 right out of the box with no limitations which I'm pleased about.It has two USB ports so no problems using a wireless keyboard and mouse. You have a SD card port for reading your own movies, pictures and apps. You can use an external hard drive to download, record and backup your content. This box is a lot smaller than now tv box so takes up less space, and also can be taken on holiday with us for movies on the go.All in all a really great value way of making your TV a smart 4K TV. I bought a cheap android box from amazon a few months ago. it was fine but did struggle with certain apps so decided to upgrade to this as it has more memory and much higher spec. So far so good and loads everything I’ve thrown at it with ease. Would definitely recommend spending a bit more for a higher spec like this as you do get what you pay for!

Up until now I had been using an Android box running 7.1, however it was getting on a bit and an update any further will not be supported, so I decided to go for a newer Android 8.1 model.I stumbled across this unit and seeing that it had almost double the hardware specs, for roughly what I paid for my older model a couple of years ago, bit the bullet.I haven’t used Android 8.1 before so was unsure what to expect, but I have to say I’m not all that impressed. I’m yet to determine if this is because of the box itself, or the Android software. Whilst I do agree with other reviewers that the user interface is very clean and neat, the responsiveness of my box was not up to the standard of my previous unit.Saying that, when you got into a video stream from YouTube or NetFlix it played flawlessly. I also tried a 1080P Blu Ray quality 5.1CH video file that again played with any issue, no stuttering or speech lag.I will persist with the unit, as the video playback is fantastic.

Opted for this Android TV box for a little more RAM than alternatives. It's smaller in size than I had expected, but feels snappy enough in actual use. There are reassuring clicks to the remote too, which feels like it'll last.Taking a star off because there seems to be an issue with external USB keyboards (wired or with dongle) and the Rockchip used.Pressing the 'enter' key on my keyboard registers as a mouse click first, before firing off an 'enter', which means possibly losing focus on your text box, or clicking on some other random link/option your cursor happens to be over on the page. Once for the click event, and even again if you end up over another link because of the 'enter' event!!!Frustrating, as typing using the remote is a chore.

I’m surprised to its box ,honestly it looks like cheap and very simple because I expected too much as its a bit expensive for me but when i tried this tv box to our tv , the installation is very easy less hassle than my previous tv box. More easier voice recognition and faster , the quality is brilliant, its built with good materials so Im sure its durable for longer use as well. Its more nicer as it has a clock as well wherein more points for this tv box. Im so happy and no regrets of choosing thos brand as I’ve got what i wanted and so pleased to its total performance and quality. All I can say for improvement is the boz to change it and put more efforts to redesign it for more attraction. Highly recommended

Really great product! Handles 4K30fps without any issues. FullHD works absolutely great. Not to mention its OS - android 8 (oreo) works absolutely great - menu is easy to navigate...
