Ok product, sizing was a problem

Almost perfect
if you are man the fit is too tight at the tip. they should make wider versions at the tip as it is shaped for a female finger or a pinky finger. I had to Dremel the tip off, smooth out and sand the inside edges down then it was perfect! I would say, the manufacturer only has to make some minor modifications and this would be a 5 star all the way or simply offers few version width for different fingers yes.

Not a good option
Healing a mallet finger by hyperextension is a trick and an 8 week long exercise in wearing a splint. These "faux" Stax and the real ones as well, are uncomfortable, extremely sticky, very difficult while doing any sports . . . yoga etc.Even at 3$ they are a waste. You can create your own simply with bent metal, padding and self stick gauze (get the black). These are just difficult, especially if you have any swelling, or a cut digit. Then they are impossible.

Very effective splint
Great splint but it's very important to get the correct size. While recovering from my mallet finger I used this splint and another splint I found on amazon with a metal bar under your finger with a velcro strap to immobilize your finger. It made things more comfortable being able to switch between the 2 splints each day. This splint is good for the shower, sleeping and at work. After work I switched to the other splint to let my finger air out. This splint is basically indestructible and a provides very good protection for your injured finger.

More Wasted $$$
Total joke. Size 4 and 5 are so close together as to be the same size. Took 10 days to get from NH to NJ. I could have walked it quicker than that. No sizing guide, so far I've wasted about $20 on these. By the time you try-and-fit until you hit the jackpot, you won't need a splint anymore. Nice idea, but that's all...

Great product.
Once I was able to determine the correct size. The product worked wonderfully. So much easier than a splint and it offers great protection to a broken bone.

Waste of money
Their size five is not a size 5. Not by the standard Stax splint measuring chart anyway. Waste of money, get a popsicle stick
