First, let's get one thing straight...you get what you pay for. Pros: 1) less than $100 2) stylish 3) ease do it your self project (I put it together at lunch in less than an hour using a NON powered screwdriver) 4) stands up to normal wear and tear Cons: 1) you got to put it together...again, you get what you pay for 2) stains can occur if you don't use coasters Having ordered the 2 end tables and 50" tv stand a few years ago, I decided to match my living room set with this. I love it. I think Altra has improved their directions and packaging from what I remember a few years ago. This table is stylish as are the other pieces of Altra furniture I own and have received multiple compliments. If you're looking for an inexpensive, fairly sturdy coffee table, this is it. Again, like anything else, if you take care of item, it will last for a while. I hope this review helped you and wish you a great day!

Bought this for my apartment and love it. The build quality feels very sturdy and only took me about 45 minutes to put everything together. It comes with all the necessary tools and parts so that you do not need to go out and buy tools or go searching through your boxes for tools. It is very stylish for a more modern living space and does not scoff easily. I have slide coasters, remotes, glasses, and my laptop across it without any evidence of damage or paint peeling. It is also very spacious to place many things on it whether you put leisure reading items, decor or a small work space it works well. Recommend for an apartment size living space or a small family room.

Surprisingly heavy in the box. It was easy to put together, and looks nice when completed. My only complaint is that the finish doesn't hold up to water or liquid very well. If you have a cup or glass that is sweating and you don't have a coaster it makes the finish sort of bubble up/wear off and it develops little spots where the finish is wearing off and you can see the fiberboard. Using a paper towel or napkin as a coaster creates the same problem, with the damp material sitting on the table top. I sort of expected a better material/quality for the price. But it's a good table otherwise. And I love the open space under the table top. It's the perfect place to store things that take up room on a regular table. I also put my remotes in that space, which has made my life significantly easier not having to search for them.

I took some stars away because they give no extra parts. It was fairly easy to assemble but where it says we were given 12x screws we were only given 10, which makes me worried about the longevity of the table. In another place where there is a predrilled hole and bolt we were screwing in a post and the whole thing came out so we had to resort to gorilla glue, which doesn’t make me feel great but it seemed to have worked. Other than the mishaps of putting it together it looks just like the picture, it’s sturdy, fashionable, and has good quality. It does seem to get scratched up somewhat easily so be wary of that and use coasters! :)

Don’t listen to anyone who says they has difficulty building his thing or that it took several hours. My experience with building furniture begins and ends with ikea, so I’m no pro. However, it only took me an hour to build this and it looks amazing! It’s wuality is more than I hoped for when buying furniture on amazon so I am thoroughly impressed! Lots of storage space for little cubby boxes to hold all the remotes/controllers and Knick knacks most people keep cluttered on the table.

Beware of buying this coffee table. I would not buy it again for even $20. First of all the assembly is not at all simple. I have assembled a lot of furniture before and this one was terrible to put together. Took me and my wife over 2 hours to put it together. Also, during assembly the wood was chipping off, we had to be super gentle as it seemed like the wood would give away. It is like cardboard, not wood. It is a cheat product. The top shelf is supposed to be laid on its back and the table parts are assembled on top of it. We were extremely careful and laid down the top on carpet to not scratch it. However, we did not turn it over to check it in the beginning. After finishing assembly when we turned it over, we discovered there were horrible scratch marks all over the surface. 5-6 extremely visible scratches, like a cat had sharpened its claws on it. We were extremely frustrated as after a 2 hour effort of putting it together, we realized it was garbage. The middle shelf was also chipped away at 2-3 places. I don't want to go through the hassle of returning it and thus will probably use it as a shoe shelf in my storage. Worst Amazon buy ever. This seller should be barred.

Looks great, sturdy, and very functional. I ordered the coffee table, 70 inch TV stand and corner table. The matching set looks amazing in my living room. One corner of the coffee table top piece came damaged even though the box had no damage. I filled out a replacement part request on the manufacturer website as it states to do in the instruction book, and they mailed me a new top piece in about in about 10 days free of charge.

It may have taken me some time to set it all up, but simply because I suck at labor!! All in all, this is an amazing product, sort of small but definitely comfortable and durable. It is excellent for the price, especially if you have a budget, or if you live in a small apartment!

The table i made in poor quality, it seems the glue the side together, no protection stain over the wood so it gets scratch very fast, even with natural oil on your hand you will leave a mark on the wood and is not going to come off, after spending time assembling this table (very poor instruction manual) notice these issues, very disappointed.

Went together with no problems. Unfortunately it is not very durable...the top gets scratched Very easily.
