After at least 100 batches of cold brew, I find the filters do exactly what they are supposed to...remove the fines from your cold brew concentrate. Initially, I found they clogged even though I use the most course setting on my burr grinder. The problem was me...I was gently stirring the brew mix 3 to 4 times over the course of it's 24-hour cycle which loosened and created more fines and subsequently clogged the filter. Now, it's 1 gentle stir about an hour into the cycle and let it be...no issues, it drains completely and the concentrate is delicious. OH, by the way, OXO.com sells them for $3.99 for Qty-50...just bought 4 more packs.

I approached these OXO replacement filters with the enthusiasm of someone who'd just discovered that cold brew doesn't have to taste like regret. At fifty filters per box, they were kind to my wallet, which is more than I can say for my relationship with actual relationships. The paper filters did an admirable job catching most of the grit, delivering coffee so smooth it could probably audition for a toothpaste commercial. The real comedy began when I attempted to make my usual 900 ml batch. About halfway through, the filter decided it had seen enough of this coffee nonsense and went on strike. The liquid simply refused to pass through, as if the coffee grounds were staging a sit-in protest. I found myself standing there, watching my precious cold brew concentrate hold up traffic in the filter, wondering if this was how people felt during the great coffee shortage of 1942. Just be prepared for the occasional filter rebellion when you try to make more than a teacup's worth. They're like that friend who's great for small gatherings but suddenly needs to leave when the party gets too big.

We’ve been using our OXO cold brew maker for 6+ years and these are the best filters for the pitcher. Great quality and a pack lasts forever.

Easy to use. Place a fresh filter over the existing mesh screen each brew. Keeps your mesh screen clean. After each brew, dispose. Can even go in your organic compost.

Makes awesome coffee! Very smooth, no bitterness, low acid. No more wasteful expensive coffee pods that taste average. We still have our Keurig and now mainly use it for dispensing hot water for tea, or to add hot water to the cold concentrate for hot coffee, rather than using the microwave. This is super convenient to make coffee once a week. Once you have the concentrate it's faster to prepare an individual cup of coffee than any other method I know of, no clean up at all. Just one thing that hung us up a bit. The lever seemed hard to move up and down. I thought I had broken it somehow, or I was doing it wrong, even though it looked like it should be easy. We discovered that if you gently pull the lever towards you as you push it up or down it moves smoothly. Don't know if anyone else had this issue, but works great now that we figured that trick out.
