Harvest 2000 Vietnamese Pho Broth Mix - 16 oz (1 Can)

Q: What is the best way to prepare this? Just with hot water? add the noodles, meat, basil, bean sprouts?

Add boiling water. Then, if you want, you can pour over noodles (soften rice noodles per package instructions first). I then add thinly sliced meat (tenderloin or sirloin). The hot water will cook it to a medium rare. I add some scallions. Finally, bean sprouts, Thai basil or whatever other additions you like (I add thinly sliced onion.) Very easy. Is it as good as the Pho in a good Vietnamese restaurant? No. But, it's pretty darn good for a quick and easy meal.

Q: How's it taste? Is it close enough to resturant quality?

It is not restaurant quality. But you are buying a powdered mix. It is decent, almost delicious. Keep your expectations in check.

Q: Anybody conpared this against Quoc Viet brand? Which is tastier?

Have not tried the other brand. I like what I bought- cheaper at Citi supermarket
