Easy to use, accurate
Really great. The temp setting was accurate so the meat came out perfect.

Crockpot performance with special probe
Received the product on time. Itโs a little smaller than I thought, however itโs perfect for two people meals. 4 to 5 lbs of meat or other vegetables. The lock down handles work well and I enjoy this feature. I like how I can set the setting and then put in the number of hours I want or I can set the finish temperature and use the attached probe. That is a game changer. I recently used the probe function on a pork loin roast and set it to 145f. When the roast reached that temperature, system goes to warm or hold temperature. Excellent performance.

Quicker cooking, no splatter from the lid
This is the best slow cooker I have ever owned. The older one's rattling cover was a hassle. This one clamps down. They instructions say not to cook that way, which is ridiculous. The cover has 5 holes in it, which lets out steam and prevents any pressure buildup. If you don't clamp it down, 7 to 9 hour beans will not be cooked in 12 hours. If you clamp it down, the beans cook in 6 to 6.5 hours. I am adjusting my slow cooker recopies for the shorter cook times. I have had this for 1.5 years, and it is still in great shape. No splatter means the base stays clean. The pot has also held up well, it still looks new. I use this about once a month.

3 heat settings, does not run too hot
The Amazon listing and the included instructions do not make it clear that the lid lock is to be used ONLY for transporting filled cooker. DO NOT use it during cooking!! It creates pressure that could break the glass lid. Okay. That said, this is a great cooker. I love the Low-Med-High choices, and it doesn't run too hot and boil the cr*p out of your food on low like some others. It has a probe thermometer that goes through a little hole in the lid to monitor the temp of your food, and you can preset it to turn to warm at a certain temp. It also has a little divot in the edge of the crock, and a rubber gasket on the lid, that permits you to use your own probe thermometer so you can set an alert when the food reaches a certain temperature. I haven't yet used the sous vide function. It is a little complicated to do these settings, and you'll need the booklet on hand when you do it. One thing I don't love, is that there is no light showing when it is "on". After setting the temp and time, the screen goes dark. I would prefer if the screen, or at least an indicator light, stayed on during the whole cooking cycle, so I can know at a glance that it is still on. Secondly, the white painted word is already starting to wear off of the "cancel" button. I've only had it 6 months, and used it maybe 5-6 times. Not a good sign.

Temperature control is a godsend!
I have not been much of a fan of slow cookers although I have always liked the concept. At my altitude, water boils at 206 degrees and every slow cooker would end up furiously boiling even on the low setting. That pretty well ruins foods you want to cook at a low simmer for a long time. I thought Iโd give this one a try since it allows you to program the temperature and hold it there for many hours. What a godsend! Works great! So far Iโve made yogurt, bbq wings, bbq shredded beef and the braised pork carnitas recipe that is one of the just 2 recipes included in the manual. All turned out delicious! There are many more things I want to try with this cooker, including the sous vide method. Also want to try tempering chocolate with this thing. Maybe keeping water at temp and putting the chocolate in the warm water in a plastic bag. The lock feature is very nice and seems to work great but it is not something I would need much, if ever. Wish it were removable as the clamps are just a little bit in the way. Pulling the probe in and out of the holes with food on it makes cleaning those little rubber gaskets a little bit of a pain. I have learned to wipe off the end before pulling it out of the hole which is somewhat unwieldy but saves the trouble of having to get out a small brush to clean the small gaskets. The cooker actually holds a little less than a gallon of liquid if you keep it 2โ below the rim as recommended. I wish they would make a smaller version of this cooker with all the same features. I am only cooking for 2 and donโt always want to cook a large amount of food at once. Half or 3/4 size would be a perfect addition, I think. I bought a great slow cooker cookbook that I saw recommended on a cooking site. I wish this cooker came with many more than just 2 recipes! I love the recipe books that come with appliances! Overall, I am thrilled with this slow cooker for the simple fact that I can control the temperature myself and make it work as intended, even at 3,400 ft.

Exactly what it says it is
Everything it claims to be. Gets to temp quick, easy to program and easy to learn. Cleans as easy as most do. The adjustable timer is great for many different reasons ( Iโve only ever had the 2HR jumps). I have no desire or need to travel with it, but seems portable enough.

Great size and super convenient
Love this cooker and the timer makes super convenient. I make a lot of chili in our long Maine winters so definitely get my moneyโs worth. Itโs also quite large which I appreciate.

The king of Slow Cookers... just ask my cardiologist...
set it up for your dream cook recipe and go to bed... your cook is done to finishing temp and waiting in the morning for your finishing sear or broil moves for lunch or dinner... I'd recommend you cross check new devices for accuracy of temperature and location with an accutemp but overall my device has been quite accurate within a few degrees and hits the temp point and reacts with a hold temp or shuts off according to your simple adjustments... It's unusual lid and its rubber seals beg to be damaged by a cook who careless like me... replacement parts are relatively expensive but the device overall is an incredible game changer if you like to slow cook long durations with a high degree of control... just treat this one with care and you will be amazed at the convenience, ease of use, and results.... if you have heart issues be sure to avoid briskets, pork butt, and chuck roast... this device makes it too easy and the results are too tasty not to repeat regularly

110 Volts
Assuming (apparently naively) that any electrical appliance that I buy from amazon.co.uk would be compatible with the national power ratings (230V), I simply found a universal plug converter and plugged it in. And of course, I blew up the machine (a loud pop). Probably I blew up one of the capacitors (I could not see any fuse circuitry but my electrical engineering days are way behind me so might have missed it) and it is fixable. So anyone who is planning to purchase this equipment once it becomes available, please bear in mind that you will also have to invest for a powerful transformer (around ยฃ100).

Best pulled pork ever!
Iโve had a few crockpots in my time, but this one is my favourite! Easy to use and I love that it automatically keeps things warm when the set time is done.

Good for the price but still too expensive
The feature which heats to a specified temperature and then holds it for a timed period is priceless. I want to cook everything this way and it does indeed work great. It's profoundly disappointing that every electric pot does not have this feature. I do not like that the probe wire will eventually break and that there is no insulation in the pot wall to prevent huge amounts of heat loss. That's plain silly and expensive. Also, the microprocessor which drives this thing is in a place where it gets way too hot and so it will eventually fail; Planned obsolescence. I'll have to fix both issues since I'm using it a lot. I already got myself a spare temperature probe. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase.

Very easy to use, and cooks food to a new level!!
Great product, Iโm a dummy and I find it easy to use. The sous vide feature is a game changer! Never have I had a more perfectly cooked salmon, and who knew it never needed to cook as hot as I thought!! Great purchase, super happy!
