Paula's Choice 10% Azelaic Acid Face Booster, Smooths & Evens Skin, 30 ml

As someone who is 15 weeks postpartum, I recently started developing acne spots all over my face despite never having acne-prone skin. It was quite stressful, especially as I have very sensitive skin and am always cautious about trying new products. I purchased the small tube of Paula’s Choice Azelaic Acid Booster first and I’m glad they offer a small size. It’s tiny, but it meant I could test the product before committing to the full-size one. This cream has worked wonders for my sensitive skin. I experienced a slight tingling sensation when applying it, but it was very mild and never caused any irritation. The results were honestly amazing… my skin started clearing up in less than a week!!! My routine is very simple, I cleanse with the Estée Lauder Perfectly Clean Foam Cleanser (my holy grail cleanser) and then apply a couple of pea-sized amounts of the Paula’s Choice Azelaic Acid Booster across my face. The improvement has been so noticeable that I’ve now ordered the full-size tube. If you’re dealing with postpartum breakouts or have sensitive skin and are considering trying azelaic acid, this product is definitely worth a try.

I highly recommend this if you have hormonal acne and hyperpigmentation! This is my 3 purchase, it’s extremely effective absorbs into the skin really well and it doesn’t irritate sensitive skin.

Overall it works, I have bad rosacea on my cheeks, after 2 days of use it definitely helps to reduce the redness and blur into my skin tone. Even on sweaty days it doesn’t go as bright as it used too. My only problem is that the 5Ml bottle is SUPER tiny and shouldn’t be for £10, I know the brand is popular but I could have gotten a 14% bottle of 30ml for £5 from a less popular brand on Amazon/tiktok.

The item is travel size and too small. It’s not worth the price. I really haven’t used it much just once because i wasn’t happy with the size of the item. So I can’t say much about it effectiveness. I’ll suggest it is boldly written in the caption that it’s a travel size item. An a picture of a model holding it would go a long way for people to knw it’s true size.

This stuff is amazing, its done wonders to help heal my blemishes and stop my acne from coming back.

So far so good, but I did not read it was only 5ml for 14€! The tube is so small for such high price!! I will go with The Ordinary next time as it has also very good reviews and it's not that expensive.

Llevo usando los productos de Paula’s Choice desde hace aproximadamente un año y medio y puedo decir con total sinceridad que es uno de los mejores cuidados faciales que he probado en mi vida. Durante este tiempo mi piel se ha igualado visiblemente, está más calmada, con menos imperfecciones y un tono mucho más uniforme. Me siento muy cómoda con mi piel, sin irritaciones ni reacciones negativas. Tengo 49 años, y mi piel está mejor que hace 10 años, algo que no esperaba. Las sérums con ácido azelaico y niacinamida, junto con la crema de noche con retinol, funcionan muy bien en conjunto y ofrecen resultados reales sin agredir la piel. La calidad es constante y, en todo este tiempo, no he tenido ningún problema con ninguno de los productos. El único punto que quiero mencionar de forma honesta es el bálsamo labial. Tiene un buen efecto hidratante y de confort, pero es más bien un producto de cuidado, no un tratamiento reparador o curativo intensivo. No es algo negativo, simplemente conviene tenerlo en cuenta. En general, estoy encantada. Me siento muy feliz de haber descubierto esta marca. Para mí, Paula’s Choice es una cosmética eficaz, fiable y realmente bien formulada.
