K well I can't find a downside to this light. It really doesn't leave room for shade at all. It casts such a massive light down where it counts. If plants could smile, I bet mine would be all tickled green with joy. My tent is terribly undersized for this light and to that I say YAAAAAAAY! Really happy and I haven't even given it 24 hours yet. I was wondering if I may have overdone the size of light for the tent but I can also dim them if i think it's too much. And besides, many other growers also say you can't have too much light when you want quality flowers. Now why would I not listen to the professionals. This is my first indoor crop and my second grow ever. Not a pro at all but I'm definitely a good listener. I added a pic of the size difference between what I had and what I've got now. It's 4 times the size and crossing my fingers it'll be close to 4 times the yield. Will add another review after a month of growth to see exactly how they're doing. -Update 1 month later. The last pic is the most recent one and is 1 week after switching to flower. Very satisfied with the light. Again, probably overdid it with the light for the space but I can say with confidence there are definitely no shadows in my tent.

Mars seem to just be getting better and better a great light thats on par with light twice the price

Just received and set up my new TS3000. Got it to replace my (so called)1200 watt King LED bluple light. The bluple light was ok for the veg cycle but doesn't have enough power to produce quantity or quality of buds. This new light is many times brighter than my old light. Set it up 3/4 through the flowering stage so I'm not sure if it will make much of a difference in this grow, but I'm looking forward to my next full grow. I'll update my review then. Very happy with the initial quality and ease of setup. UPDATE- Too late for last grow...Installed in my new 5x5 Mars hydro tent (awesome tent) 3 weeks in and the plants are loving the light. further updates coming. Well 5 weeks into flowering and the limitations of the light are obvious. As you can see from my 8th picture showing how the center of the tent gets the most light, Makes for a lot of lost product. My garden absolutely loves this light, the capsicums and chilli have had huge growth. I won't be using burple (blue/red) LED again

Update: Two years later and the barrel (power) connector disconnected on one of the two LED panels. Contacted Mars Hydro Support and was requested to return unit for repair with shipping to be reimbursed. Phenomenal. Recommend their products for price/quality, as well as, Customer Support. Going to look at their store now... Experienced great Customer Service from Mars Hydro Support as an issue with a coupon was rectified. Switched from a Hortilux 600w Super Blue HPS bulb with Nanolux ballast in an air-cooled reflector. Less heat in grow tent and, so far, suspect that yield will be equal; further update to follow once available. Update: Yield is on par with HPS (multiple years using both light types). Noteable design issues which should be corrected in future version(s): 1. The barrel connectors from drivers to panels have no support. To avoid damage, using cable management (wires supported with no tension). The connectors are just soldered to panels with no additional support for barrel connectors from drivers. Update: Per above update, this was anticipated; but, to be repaired by Mars Hydro. 2. Braided steel wires which connect to panel are not adjustable. Ratchets are poor quality (plastic). Switched to ratchets with metal gears. 3. Adjustments for Meanwell drivers are inaccessible without dismounting. Update: Have yet to adjust; so, this is a non-issue if using at max intensity.
