although sold as 16mm thick mats ...the main bulk of the mat is only 12mm...having phoned and spoken to the company it was explained that external dimensions are applied ie the small nipples on the back are included in the the dimension.I was informed that I was not the only person confused by the measurements.I had purchased 48 of these mats, which are to thin for the purpose they were bought for.It was explained to me that i could replace them for a thicker mat at about £2 per mat,but I would need to return the mats at my own expense before anything would be done.that would cost me about 10% of the total cost of the mats.If I had known about the real dimensions I could have made an informed decision in stead of which I have just doubled up on the mats to get the desired results but I will not be purchasing any other products from this company
