Staedtler Modelling Clay Learning and Development (8023 01 05)

Clay is very soft, easy to work with. Very happy with the color and quality of the product. Did not crack at all.The only bad thing about it was that when I ordered, I didn't notice that they were only 1oz blocks, too little clay to start with, specially if you are a beginner. It's more like a tester pck. I'd probably would've ordered a few of the regular size (basic colors) instead. Other than that, it was pretty good.Happy Molding!

I bought this clay for my daughters and have ended up using it just as much as they have. I have no prior experience with clay and found this clay to be easy to manipulate, but not too soft. The colors are wonderful and appear identical to the photo. This clay hardened in the oven with no problem. My daughter has made several figurines and I have made small jewelery beads. I would highly recommend this item.

Nicely bright colors. Arrived timely. Ease of use gets 5 stars. Not all dried up or hard. This isn't quite what I had in mind for our project, for what my son wanted to do... however, as a first 'sculpting' set for an 11 year old boy, I'm pleased. Within minutes of opening it he already minecraft items and a small zelda shield. The colours we got were not the ones pictured, but that was definitely not an issue for us. We received more primary colors-type. They are much bolder and nicer than what is pictured. I was pleased to see this clay can be baked. Hoping to do that and then find some glaze. when i got the package it came with everything it said it would. all ten colors. the packaging was the perfect size it came it a yellow envelope. none of the clay was dry or hard. the picture isnt the same as what you get the purple at the bottom is a brighter purple almost a dark pink. the aqua color in between the brown and dark blue is much brighter and is not aqua but pure green color the rest of the colors are about the same.i got this about a month ago and i still have a good amount left. if u think the size is small just wait till you finish it it'll take u a while. i warn u to be careful with the white and yellow its not pretty when it has greens and reds mixed in with it! polymer clay doenst dry out. i suggest you wrap it up though so the colors dont mix in with each other i also suggest u store them on plastic or metal NOT paper or cardboard they tend to soak up the moisture of the polymer clay. i left a small amount of clay on cardboard and within a couple of days the clay became hard like i baked it. if this happens to u just kneed it in between ur fingers it will be good as new!!!!!!!! fimo soft clay is one of the harder clays but doenst dry out i like this way better then sculpey cuz when you create something with fimo it starts to its hard so it will stay the way u kept it and not get messed up if u take ur finger off of it. with sculpey it really soft and starts to stick to my fingers. this is a great product i recammend to every polymer clay user. also this was the cheapest kind with all the colors i needed.

This I found hard to condition.I will have to purchase a pasta roller.Also didn't realize the blocks would be so small.Having said that the colors are very pretty and once I finally got it pliable was easy to work with.

Purchased this for my 17 year old daughter to make beads for bracelets. The blocks in the package are about 1/2 the size of a normal block of Fimo that I purchased in the craft store, but still come out to a little less than the price of the same amounts of clay if purchased separately.This clay is easy to work with and is much softer than some other brands, although she likes to use the harder brands to create fine details that she adds to the Fimo clay, as it holds its shape better when she presses them into the Fimo.This is a fun product to use and we will definatel purchase again. Now, if we can figure out how to use the white without getting other colors all over it or just getting it dirty looking from handling it.

I'm used to working with Sculpy, and I was leery to purchase a brand that I wasn't familiar with, but these were great! They blended well, and worked really well, and there was no problem at all with the baking....and the baking smell wasn't as bad as I remember (with the sculpt), so that's a plus. Just keep in mind that these are small, 25 gram blocks, which are about the size of those rectangular pink erasers that the kids use at school, so if you're doing a larger project, you'll need more. I would definitely buy these again.

This clay is nice and stable. Tips from other clayers suggested I pop the clay into my pocket to warm it before using it. This made it easy to start conditioning the clay. It does take longer to condition then other brands but it doesn't get super tacky like the other brands because of this. The colors are nice and vibrant and blend well together. My only issue is that the colors bleed a lot onto your hands. Make sure you keep wet wipes handy and clean your hands and tools real quick before moving onto the next color. If you don't your colors will mix.

Excellent product. Small blocks but good choice of colours and good value for money. Suitable for older child as fimo is quite hard to knead and model. Probably no younger than 8

Stupendo set di colori per chi vuole iniziare ad avvicinarsi al Fimo senza spendere molto.Il marchio originale è già una garanzia.I 12 panetti da 25 gr ciascuno sono morbidi e i colori brillanti.Questa pasta polimerica si lavora a meraviglia, senza appiccicarsi alle mani o al piano di lavoro, e non fa crepe.Perfetta anche per piccole creazioni e miniature.L'unica accortezza da avere è di lavarsi le mani se si è lavorato un colore scuro e si vuole lavorarne uno più chiaro, così da non sporcarlo.
