Solid, heavy enough to hold umbrella in place, good value for the money

Great product! Looks really nice. I purchased 3 of these which I've had for over a year now. They have been outside in the weather year round and still looks new. They're heavy enough to keep the umbrellas upright in moderate winds. Very easy to put together. Highly recommend these stands.

This base is heavy duty, very nice and secures umbrella well, love it

I purchased this weighted stand to secure a 9 foot patio table umbrella on our backyard deck.. The product arrived without damage, although the styrofoam packing protecting it in the box was all broken. No parts were missing. Clear assembly instructions are provided, although assembly is really pretty intuitive. The only tools needed are either pliers or a wrench to help tighten the bolt that secures the tube to the base. The stand fits easily under our table and fits our umbrella (1-1/2” diameter shaft) perfectly. The base is resin but feels very solid and looks very attractive. My only complaint is the instructions refer to a metal spacer that fits between the shaft and the base. The spacer is actually plastic and could be easily broken if the bolt securing the tube to the base is tightened too tightly. Quite honestly, a large metal washer would have been better, probably no more expensive to include, and much more durable. It’s worth noting this stand only weighs 21 lbs. This is adequate to keep a large umbrella upright and stable with the added support provided by our heavy metal table. But it is not heavy enough by itself to keep an open umbrella upright if tilted or in wind without the added support provided by a heavy table. So if you’re looking for a stand alone umbrella base, you’re going to want to buy one a lot heavier. For our purposes, though, to keep an umbrella secure under our patio table, this stand is attractive and works well.

Holds very strongly

THANK GOD! THE RIGHT FIT! I will pay closer attention to the very REAL differences between a patio table umbrella AND a free standing sun umbrella after this! VERY pleased it worked right away; I just never realized the difference before and wonder, how many do? Ah well; "All's well that ends well!"

Just ok Fine for a smaller umbrella that is also secured through a table, but on its own it is not sturdy enough. I use a 9’ umbrella and it has blown over several times, even while the umbrella was closed.

After using for 12+ months, this umbrella stand has performed well. It is heavy enough to anchor our 9' patio umbrella despite wind and rain storms. I recommend it!

Me gustó el producto, sin embargo de las dos piezas que compre faltó la pieza de perilla que aprieta el tubo, que raro no!!!! Porqué no envían completo, deben tener más cuidado.

Arrived broken

Sturdy item, ample to control a garden parasol I also ordered separately. Easy to assemble… once I retrieved the bits! Please package the washers more securely. I had to shake out everything and rummage around to find the washers. The big bolt was in a separate bag but the rest all just loose in the box. The polystyrene had broken up in transit which I think was the cause. But really a small issue in the scheme of things. I think a good investment for summers to come.

It is not metal as I thought and will Chico if hit. But it looks ok.
