The media could not be loaded.  Comes packaged in a simple recyclable brown box. You install the smart life app on your phone, create a free account, then turn on the bulb and begin the pairing. Once paired you add smart life as a Alexa skill and then you can control the bulb via voice or the Alexa app.Pairing worked excellently and the connection has been stable.The Smart life app allows full control of the bulb colour including multiple white options from soft to bright. In addition there are patterns including the light cycling through all the colours. Excellent for kids parties.With Alexa you can still pick brightness, tone of white or the colour but you cannot select the rotating colour options.We use this for the kids room so that normally it can be a simple soft white light but then when they have friends around the room can be turned into a disco!Highly recommended.

This bulb is good value as it allows me to control my lighting through Alexa or my phone, which I use for ease and to be woken up by my light and the radio in the morning. The colour is not very accurate, I struggle to find a white which isn’t harsh, and in my experience the bulb has forgotten the WiFi network and had to be reset when it was turned off at the switch, but compared to the price of more popular brands, it is definitely worth it!

Item is pretty easy to set up once you've got the app running. There are multiple colours to choose from and variations like dimming/brightening. You can also pick the "gorgeous" scenery which flicks through multiple colours and you can set the slow/fast pace yourself. Ability to use voice control from my phone via Ok, Google! is another nifty feature, especially when you're in bed and can't be bothered getting up.. yeah i know, call me lazy lol. Nonetheless, I'm a first time user of these smart gadgets and they seem to be pretty handy. I can't fault it just yet and i hope they continue to serve me well 👍

Won’t connect to app

Not used, as unable to set it up with my WiFi......shame as others I have used have had no trouble at all and very easy to set up.

Easy enough to set up, but the light quality is not good. gives off a horrible bluish-grey glow when in standard white mode. Wouldnt recommend as main light source for a room. it was cheap so you get what you pay for.

This has been a good smart bulb so far. It was quite easy to set up on to my home wifi and I had it all done in under a couple of minutes. It has worked great with Alexa as well and I am surprised at how quickly the smart bulb was able to respond to the Alexa command. I don't think the bulb is actually that bright but it can change colours so there is that.

I like this product very much! This is very cool, you can use your mobile app to turn on and off the light and also change the colour! I saw it at a friend’s and decided to buy one for myself. Easy use and instal, so far so good.
