Game Genie

While not an actual video game, the Galoob Game Genie for the classic Nintendo Game Boy certainly is a blast. Whether you want to modify your level of health, ammo, lives or continues, or give you that super-secret power-up you normally have to jump through hoops to get, you can most likely find codes on a myriad of different websites for whatever you desire. And for those codes you use a lot, there's a flip-open compartment on the back of the device; you can print up the codes, fold the paper and store then in the compartment. This is a must-have for any gamer; it will even work with the later Game Boy models (Pocket, Micro, Color, Advance and Advance SP), so you can play your old favorites without wearing out your old Game Boy. Highly recommended.

Reviewing for a used, vintage video game cheating device seems a little silly but I will offer this, the product came in exactly as described and worked like a charm, so sayeth my teenager.

does not work period end of story lesson learned. I just wanted to make my game play easy and thought this would be an answer to me having extra lives, invincibility no such luck. I plugged into my game boy and nothing happened just a blank screen with a hand going in a circle like game genie does on my NES I couldn't even bypass it to just play the game I was relieved that I did not erase the memory to my game it was a waste of excitement for this don't try it if you have a gameboy advance color it will not work :-(

I bought my game genie for my GameBoy Color and was a little unsure if it would fit in my GameBoy at first. But it fit in just fine and i dont know what people are talking about it not fitting. The only flaws are 1, it doesn't save the codes you enter 2, it doesnt have a hole lot of codes for pokemon. Overall it's pretty good.

In one of the pictures it had the box and the instructions but I only got the game gini so I'm kinda upset

Was a gift for my grandson, i feel that reviewing this game or anything ordered for some one else is note nessary

It's a great product. It works great for my game boy. I would recommend this product to anybody who has a game boy.

When the package arrived, I was so happy to see how good of condition it was in. The box was quite a bit banged up, but the surprise amount of original items contained within the box made up for that.
